Front discs. Not sure whether the rear disc from that model 600 is compatible or not. Rear discs are cheap enough anyway, would never both replacing mine as don't us the rear brake except when stopped at lights.

i see.. thanks dude..

Some people measure their adventures in miles or days. I prefer "lamp posts".

Click to see several pairs of F3 discs that are suitable. They are exactly the same as the CBR400 discs and bolt straight on no mods required.

You can fix sliders to a Hurricane but you may not be able to use ones from a 929 kit as they may come with the wrong size bolts. You will need to cut a hole in your mid fairing panel for the slider bolt to go through. I have sliders on my Hurricane.

With you problem with the signals not working 55/65w bulbs will generally burn out the wiring in the light switch block on the handle bars which could be causing your problem so you could try getting that rewired for a few bucks first and changing to 35/65w bulbs which are the standard fitment.

i am using 55/65W headlites.. but i haf alreadi rewired them to a relay.. so no issues with the switch block.. aniwae i replaced my unit with a Spec3 S4 rectifier.. decided to try it out when i realised the old unit was overcharging all the way even at idle.. i realli hope the new one will last..

aniwae.. where did u find the lite bulbs with stock wattages? they are almost unheard of.. from the original distros? FJT or Eversuccess? how much do those cost?

open up the pillion seat, there should be a sticker by the side stating which model the bike is, OR check the frame or engine no.

N Model Engine No: NC23E-1420001 / Frame No: NC29-1050001

R Model Engine No: NC23E-1500001 / Frame No: NC29-1100001

L Model Engine No: NC23E-1300001 / Frame No: NC29-1000001

Market Price should be ard 4k...

The rest, ask the experts, or you might wanna search within this topic, cos this question had been asked and answered alot of times before. ^^

There are some other things you may wanna look out for to differentiate the models... like the L model header has a larger diameter compared to the R model's...

The R model fork also is different from the L and N models...

The carbs have numbering too, but does'nt matter as the jets and setting could have been mod by the prev owners...

A word of advice.... 1 of the easiest things to spot wear and tear is the drive chain and spocket the other is the tyres... Ask for new ones u tink they need a change some time soon after you have taken over the bike... this things you must demand!!

Though Outlook may count, do pay close attention to leaking coolant when the engine starts n warms... Check on fork seal leaks...

From my view, 1of Blade's Biggest prob is its charging and cooling system.

i wont suggest you get the newest plate like FP or FQ cos they are almost 10 yrs old. Rather find 1 that has been recently rewired...

Look for newer radiator... than rebuilt 1s... as they are'nt usually the japan made ones....

Remember those bikes that have the COE extended cost more... Coe ending soon must cost lesser...

A couple of you have asked me to re-post the Haynes manual. I am on vacation in FL now. Try asking from someone else or wait till I get back to NY.

Maybe it should be time for you to do a coolant flush...

You should try flushing your coolant...

At the same time open your radiator cap and open throttle while engine running... see whether the coolant water pops up all over... repeat again... if it stil happend check with your mechanic...

Cos' your bike may need a change of head gasket.

2nd scenario... if you see coolant leakin from the over flow hose near the right footrest.. its cos' ter is loss of pressure from your radiator cap.... have it checked and changed...
