Bro, can I ask how you prepare your bike for track? As in what needs to be done bike wise so that its "track-fit". I'm currently saving up for a track session also.

Make sure your chain is adjusted and lubed. Make sure all your cables are properly adjusted. Make sure you don't have any fluid leaks and that your oil and coolant are at the proper levels.

 

Make sure your tyres are suitable for riding at the track and in good condition. You want tyres with reasonable grip in good condition as you will be pushing harder than on the road and will want all the grip you can get to keep yourself safe.

 

Preferrably take a tyre pressure gauge with you as when you get to the track you want to drop your tyre pressures down to 30 psi front and back, this is important as you heat the tyres up a lot more on the track and running normal road pressures will wear the tyres out very quickly and will also need to poor handling.

check yr suspension that it is in working condition..

no damage seal..

no forl oil leak..

the bolt attached to swing arm and the rear suspension is in gd condition.

Guys, just a quick question. How do I make my headlight "white"? Change to a white bulb? Paste white sticker?

hav to change to white bulbs..

normally is the glass of the bulb is blue in colour..

white sticker will not do any gd..

but beware that it may burn yr wiring and melt yr reflecter in the headlight housing if u use those chiong types..

So if I am to change to white bulbs, dun get "chiong" ones rite? Any idea how much original ones cost? And what are they called?

Just to let u guys know that the insurance for cbr400 and various classes, there is an increase in the price..current cheapest i know is from AIA which is also 450++ for the cheapest range without fire and thef. My age is 22...Hope it can serve as a gauge

hu told u abt the price increment in the insurance premium, isit mitsui? coz i called to enquire abt mine they quoted me $1052 for third party only 19yr old here, bcoz they sae accident i had 50% liability, however tp ruled out the verdict as taxi was 100% at fault, crap.. so ended up i called ntuc they offered me $367 third party only.

juz went to ntuc cos getting a wave..

im having problem with cbr riding posture. i felt painful from my groin area. the posture is like sitting on top of my balls. very uncomfortable. anyone know how to solve this issue? thinking of selling it away man.
