Apparently I had problems with it and my friend too

Luckily we managed to talk our way out and I had brought the old log card with me

They dont seem aware of the problem actually

So I hope others would be able to talk their way out too

Otherwise it would be a waste if you cant come in

it could be u are the sub-rider? i face no such problems though...

Nope I'm the owner of the bike same as my friend

According to them as long as your name is not stated in the log card they wont allow you in

I'm not sure how my other friend got to talk him out about it

But it's kinda hassle to face this when you have traveled 800 plus km

I hope LTA can do something about it

Then you should write to LTA to highlight your problems so other riders might benefit from it.

Actually this is not LTA's problem.

Locally, the printed copy of the log card is a valid document to proof ownership of the bike.

As long as the printed copy of the log card has the details, you should not have a problem importing/exporting the bike to Thailand.

For bikes which are on hire purchase prior to printed copy, they will not have the original logcard but a photocopy of the logcard. You still can get into Thailand with your bike.

The most important thing is that you take your bike out of Thailand when you leave.

I checked with LTA they told me to click the 'VEHICLE HUB' tab,

Click 'ENQUIRE & PRINT VEHICLE REG DETAILS'

From there you can see your name on it together with your vehicle details

I printed it out from 'MY ACCOUNT' tab that has no name stated on it

Just checking if anyone has tried entering THA without the usual log card that LTA used to issue. I bought over a bike and all they gave was a A4 paper with all the bike details on. Think because LTA is going electronic but wonder if THA borders will accept.

no problem with it... they accept the A4 size paper log card... i use that many times...

The steps to view and print vehicle particulars of an individual vehicle

are as follows:

ID issued by LTA and click the "Submit" button;

4) Enter your "SingPass" password (if you are a Singaporean or PR)

otherwise enter the password issued by LTA and click on the "Logon"

button;

5) In the "Terms & Conditions" page, click on "I Agree" button;

6) You would see a pop-up window titled "Warning Security", select

and Click on "Yes" button;

7) At the ONE.MOTORING PORTAL, select and click on "Vehicle Hub" for

pull down menu. Select and click on "Enquire & print vehicle

registration details";

8) Under "Asset Type", click on the pull down menu button followed

by "Vehicle"; and under "Vehicle No" enter your vehicle number (e.g.

SAA1234X). Thereafter, select and click the "Details" button.

Hi Peepz. Cos a few days no reply so I wrote in to ask LTA how to print it out and here's their detailed steps. Thanks feeufee and YZFx for reply. Think the hardest step is to get the Singpass.

If you have a logcard or a photocopy of it use it. The logcard is issued for bikes registered or transferred on or before 28 Feb 2006.

If you registered or transferred your bike after that, use the LTA E-Services (need Singpass) to print out information about your vehicle which you can use at the border.
