Maxi scoot is not classified if it is a 4 stroke automatic.

 

Maxi Scooter

A maxi-scooter[15] or touring scooter[16] is a large scooter, with engines ranging in size from 250 cc (Honda CN250) up to the latest 839 cc machine (the Gilera GP 800), and using larger frames than the normal sized scooters.

 

The trend toward maxi-scooters began in 1986 when Honda introduced the CN250 Helix / Fusion / Spazio. A few years later, Suzuki launched the Burgman 650. Honda (600 cc), Piaggio, Yamaha, Aprilia, Kymco (700 cc) and others have also introduced scooters with engine displacements ranging from 400 to 850 cc. Honda's PS250 (also known as Big Ruckus) defies common scooter classification because its step-through is high and it features a motorcycle-like exoskeleton instead of bodywork.[citation needed

 

 

4 strokes

Aprilia released the SR50 Ditech with direct injection in 2001. The SR50 uses one litre of fuel for 50 kilometres of driving (117mpg) and meets the Euro3 standard with a two-stroke engine. Later on, more brands, including Derbi and Peugeot, started using direct injection systems for their scooters.

 

Due to new environmental laws, scooters had to change to four-stroke engines because most two-stroke engines do not meet the Euro3 standard. This has met with opposition from many scooter riders who favor the two-stroke engine's superior power-to-weight ratio, especially in smaller size ranges.

Anyone knows where to get the bleed nipple screw for the brake calipers? Mine is rusty and rounded. I went to Vector One but they say don't have for Runner. Go to Kallang, they say change the whole caliper.

i only want to find out how to improve my gear1/2 or even gear3 speed as my pickup is rather slow, i find it surprisingly annoying when cars start to tail me or cut into my lane after a traffic light.

maybe problem at autoclutch...but this item rarely do probs..

 

better go services ur pulley&autoclutch 1st...

maybe some greese/oil leak into ur pulley... it cause ur belting loose grip..

If you go to Kallang Ave, they dnt sell it in broken detail parts.

They would sell like a total brand new caliper.

It could be your carburator setting, dirty air filter, heavy rollers or belt loosen due to wear n tear. :goodluck:

 

beb, i dun tink he's "SP" runs with a belt n rollers?? Gear 1/2 or 3?

Thats correct in principles... maxi scoots are generally 4 stroke 250cc onwards.

But on the other hand, the runner has also been classified as a maxi scoot in Europe. A good example would be scootercenter.com. our parts are under maxi scooter 2 stroke.

Kalau porting stock block mestilah ada rasa ringan sikit..

Tapi stock block punya piston besar pada Malossi. So kalau

Nak beza kan stock dgn Malossi, Malossi lagi ringan. :)

im just sharing Mark..and u know i luv calling you a retard..kahha..later i got time i go find a 2 stroke labeled under maxi scooter...maybe PM tuning did that too..under their online shop..anyway doesnt matter..no time to do research just to prove one is smarter than one another..and this rhing is taking up sapce here..anyway its been a long time since i last saw u..catch up soon broken bones..
