hi guys,im using a mikuni carb too,n recently e lower half of the carb gt lobang..so,i used the lower half of a diff brand..so,wanna ask u,how much does a 2nd hand OR a brand new mikuni card sells for?n does shops sell 2nd hand k&n air filter?where to get 2nd hand tyre for gilerra?since the carb gt lobang,my bike stats to have probs continuously...

 

- i think a new mikuni costs abt 150

- most gilera shops at kallang and ubi has 2nd hand tyres, you

just have to ask them i guess

 

- not sure on where to get a 2nd hand k&n filter but my advice

is to get a new one instead, or maybe you can look ard the classifieds

section to see if anyone is selling away their filters..

 

- you mean the metal carb reservoir got lobang ?

life span of the mikuni carbs is around 2 years.

G-SHOCK??? mudman or frogman version ;)

They are new about gilera bikes but they do have a mechanic which have experience dealing with gilera problems...

For their carburator servicing, i'm satisfied with what they had done, in fact nvr i had a mechanic set my bike till out of the compund area of the shop. He ride my bike & try to set it till i'm satisfied with it...for the price wise it is really reasonable.

I accept my circumstances, but i don't accept defeat...

dont have mikuni carb.. they only got keihin.. think PSN77 heard wrongly.. they got 24mm n 28mm carb..

btw dat big guy is azmi aka panjang.. which carb u choose will affect ur handling of the bike.. diff carb will provide diff power.. dats why got 'bird' no 'bird' also important.. hahahaha btw who r u ar? i still duno u leh.. yet u noe who i am.. hahaha

everywhere u go also must be frenly dude.. no matter how ppl treat u, juz be nice to them.. but i got one type of ppl i will never be frenly.. haha my close frens will noe.. :angel:

28mm of cuz is better in terms of speed or pickup..but dude..28mm might not be practical for school transport..makan minyak yo!

 

mok is right..your current one (mikuni 24mm flatslide) is gud enuff and by far the best that ive tried..you can check with the rest too...

What do u think of UMA carburators?

The flow system is similar as Mikuni TMX with e powerjet.

Very tempting to try local carb. :cheeky:

i've seen it on an 06 over at sunrise, and i have to say, it doesnt look that bad..

quite clean actually..

 

When u gonna lepak at AHM?

 

i thought of going there tomorrow to get my carb serviced, wanna tag along ?
