our friend quovadis has tried this magnetic fuel saver thingy where magnets are placed on his fuel lines. after some reasearch, i found that there is some truth to his silly thing. im not sure wether he placed magnets on his air intake?

(the magnets shld produce sufficient magnetic strength n work in d bike's operating temperature) therefore during combustion they will mix better and produce a better combustion. better n cleaner combustion with less vibration is d stated outcome. as quovadis's explanation to y he fixed that thing is not clear, we had doubts abt his magnet thingy. now i MAY believe it becos i havent actualli tried it.

 

so anybode ELSE has tried this thing?

research eh bro? at 5.25am? haha. real ah lu ah.. ive told u the only reason for u to believe is to try it out urself. A commercial magnet would be the one usually installed on cars and big bikes would be the CALSKI (market value at 200+).. Ive seen a WRX install 4 - 5 of it.. it saves approx 30% of the fuel consumption and have lesser vibrations..

 

for me. i cant disclose my source of magnet (only the other 3 racer wannabes know).. but a cheap magnet from ur local store would work but i wouldnt think it'll last long.

 

supafly, probably u could research somemore and explain to us everything in ur terms cos mine nobody seem to understand.

wahhh... post also until 3X ! hehe.. for better fuel economy, i guess u can switch smaller mainjet i suppose ? For the magnet thingie, it something called the neodymium magnets or something they're called. Never tried one myself though...

Bro.. i think its a bit funny to be changing a 150cc sportbike to ANOTHER 150 sportbike.. imho.. u might as well chANGE to a diff type bike.. or upgrade.. hehe coz i tried 3.. so far.. it varies a lil only.. not really a world of difference.. :)

 

n ithink ur krr is already nice already.. :)

Guys, Saw A TZM FWXXXX Plate At Southen Motors Selling At 4.7k Inluding INsurance 1 Year.. Is It Worth It? I Think Like Want to Down My Money Liao... But I Think Back, Can Buy 2 KR Sia...... Wat Do U Guys Think?? Worth It?? Sumore Got PPL say Southen Motor Cannot Be Trusted.

 

I Ask Him If i Down $1k, I Have To Pay $157 For 3 YEARS...

i don think its a matter of worth it or not. its a matter if u think u are able to take gd care of it. i mean if u don really take care of the bike u buy then u buy krr or tzm in the end still the same wat.. right? haha.. different person got different opinion on performance/ price all this.

 

TZM is a gd bike if u really take gd care of it. but pls pls check and test the bike properly first and don rush into deciding jus because u wanna have a bike. the last time i bought my TZM frm shop the F***er gave me a screw up block i had to come out plus minus 500 bucks to get a brand new one frm japan..

From what i know the last tzm is FU n believe to be less then 20 in sg. The one DYNO saw at southern maybe due to the previous owner retain that number. Btw DYNO are u rock climbers?

OUh Yah, Before 1 Forget

 

When Buying TZM From Shops Like New SOuthern, Albert, 1st Motors Or Any other shops, What Should I Look Out For before buying that bike... i talking about performance.. i don care about the plate, or visual.. Price Must Be Reasonable..

 

And

 

After Buying The Bike, What Should I Do Before Riding It... Do I Have To Send For Servicing? Overhaul? Change Of Parts??

 

SOrry GUys, I Have No Knowledge Of Bikes... And i maybe getting a M nexy Month.. So Far My Downpayment Money $800 is ready.. but thats all i have.. if u guys ive me sum tips, maybe i can save up some cash..

hey guys i need some help!! why is it tt my bike when i pillion lose ALOT of power? and i really mean ALOT. some time can stall also. i know my block is ****ed up tts y next week i changing. but any of u think because of other reasons???

 

when i ride alone no problem. once got pillion damn jia lat man pick up vespa (the old skool type) also can win.. HELP!!! like suddenly half my power gone..

 

i hope its jus the block! my block now going to crack already sial..

first thing first when u wanna buy a bike...

and u dont know anything bout bikes..

 

NO.1 most important rule is...

 

DON'T be too impatient.. everything u wanna rush..

the way u post... u're like in a rush...

when u're in a rush.. u'll tend to make big mistakes..

and in the end pay for something which the price is NOT right

 

NO.2

 

if u just bought a bike..

and u wanna overhaul...

might as well u give me the money for me to respray my bikes with new paintwork.

 

NO.3

 

when buying a bike..

if u have no knowledge watsoever..

get someone who has good knowledge of bikes.. to help u..

if not.. someone might just sell u a scrap bike...

wat i know, if blk error is like when u kickstart ur bike, the compression is not there. blk scratches.

ur spocket wat size ? how much do u weigh ? - 1

check ur valve too. tzm is well known for valve "error" if u dont "open" ur valve daily/weekly/mthly up to u. - 2
