Yamaha TZM 150 Riders

whoa nice looking bike u have there.. where do u liv anyway ? ... This bike is ok la to me. Seems to be getting small for me. Intending to upgrade la but then to think again of the maintainence required for a bigger cc bike, i think i'll just stick to this one for the time being.

For me at the moment, i just feel that my bike could not GO, as in speed la. Feels light up through the range n reached gear 6 quite light too; as in u feel dat the bike could go on further. Maybe its due to the sprocket size ?

But so far other than that not much problem la.. cheers ! n C'mon guys lite up this forum ya !!

best solution i can give u is

get an air box, get a y1 block, dun use

premix...

yar...i study at Tampines ITE:cheer: ...thanks for the phrise of my bike...a....u mean u saw mi together wif ur friends??wats their name??btw....frm wat i noe..the repair my bike person say tat actually [premix is much better de normal 2t container,coz u dun really noe hw much 2t goes into the engine.But wen u use pemix..u noe hw much 2t goes into the engine.my ratio is 1liter=30ml of 2t.Its not tat i dun wan to change a origenal block...tats cost too much liao!haiz...btw..thanks synikal for ur advise....

hey i live in Tampines too la dey.. my bike original red white black colour FT plate. i tried using premix before but it seems troublesome la at times coz i usually top up like $5-6 n don't want bothering carrying 2T ard. And the feeling of not having white 2T smoke coming out the pipe is indeed scary. So finally switched back to the normal pump.

 

Abt the engine, i've got a combination of Y1 head & Y2 block, which i find it sweet to ride with la. Not sure on the performance of having both Y1 or Y2 block.

 

Had any mods done to your bike yet ?

to get better result is adjusting the 2t valve..

all tzm have the control valve....

both y1 block gives better performance....

btw heres a tip for u guys who wanna see

the power of ur bike...

get sprockets---- 12 in front

32 at back...

for a kick performance

12 in front

42 at back

den u'll see how much power ur baby has...

keep it for ur own use n dun give dis tips to other

-=TZM=-,I think u premix too much already..normal riding 20ml per litre should be enuff..too much 2T will cause more carbon build up and spoil ur plug...my suggestion for u is dat if u intend to ride ur bike for a long time it's better to get original block and piston...cos if u never change u also have to pay for the towing and repair..jus my point of view...

 

I sliced my seat a little and kinda regreat it..cos now the CG is lower,bike doesn't go down as quick as it's suppose to be...have to patch it back..

Hey i think i saw u yesterday la at the coffeeshop opposite the Tampines NPC there. I was on my way home abt 5 plus. Saw a repsol hornet n few other bikes.. Was that a gathering we didnt know abt ? haHahA !!

Me's changing soon... Oncoming saturday at New Southern.... Battalax front and back

 

Today almost buan... Becoz of the damn fishtail that TZM has and the tires.

 

It should cost around 150 for both.
