bro, for ratios to work, e SI units for both arguments must be e same. that is, if ure using 1:20, that means 1litre:20litres, or 1ml:20ml. u said u use 1L of petrol to 20ml of 2T rite? so 1st u've gotta make e units similar. 1L=1000ml of petrol to 20ml of 2T. so that leaves u w a ratio of 20:1000, bring it down using LCM (Lowest Common Multiplier) and u'll get 1:50. therefore i deduce that ure using ure autolube sys alongside premixing at a ratio of 1:50 and NOT 1:20. :smile:

but we go petrol station where got pump petrol in millilitre one...

just put 1L of petrol to 20 ml of 2t can already wat...

10 litres of petrol means 200ml of 2t la....

12 litres means 240 ml 2t... easy wat....simple

well i guess i'm too technical hehehe. premix ratios are figures that can be used for troubleshooting in e long run. depends on every individual need n thirst for knowledge i guess :smile:

hi everyone, today i have successfully cured my baby of BOGGING problem. intitially, it bogs in between 1/4-1/2 throttle position n it really takes e joy out of my ride. went to various bike shops n all they can say is that "TZM is NORMALLY like that". BULLSHEET. :mad: then i got to know off the net about JETTING. but hell when i went to 2 of my fav bike shops to enquire on jetting n both shops told me TZM is difficult to jet n its best to leave it as it is. :mad: when ppl say "Your TUNING got problem", do they actually know how to TUNE? is it jus e pilot air screw have to turn 1 1/2 - 2 turns out plus adjusting e pilot fuel screw to maintain idling to 1.2-1.3 revs? another load of BULLSHEET. :mad: pilot air n fuel screw only applies to 0-1/4 throttle position n after that it's e slide valve (1/8-1/2) followed by jet needle/needle jet (1/4-3/4) followed by mainjet (3/4-full).

 

i got all the help i need thru this tutorial Carburetor Theory. all i needed to do was to make my air/fuel mixture leaner by raising e clip on e jet needle up a notch. at first i thought i need to run richer, so i lowered e clip n my bogging got worse. my fiance, who was assisting me made a clear point that in fact i need to run leaner. thanks to her, i raised e clip n my engine becomes MUSIC to our ears.

 

so to any of u facing bogging problems, 1stly u need to identify which throttle position ur baby bogs at. then u can isolate the valve/jet which causes e bogging. most prob u have to make ur mixture leaner. if not then make it richer. how? refer to the link above. :goodluck:

Hi, i juz bought my tzm n encountering sum probs....i tink the alignment is off coa wen i brake, my bike tend to swerve to the left....also wen i peng, got also go left....sumtimes, wen i rev, the engine sound abit funny leh....like dying den suddenly acclerate...:confused:

Any guyz can help me clarify my probs??:help: thanks

not sure about the matt black TZM

but i saw the marlboro paintwork FT TZM when i bought my bike

$4.6k

its a beauty but only got the chance to admire the exterior

cause i bought the FQ plate beside it ahahhahaha

even if u live very far, i suggest u go down and see the bikes for urself, its better this way!
