Finally got it ! , for those who are planning to buy , i bought mine Sandisk 8gb Class4 Micro SDHC at unit #05-50 "Bizgram Asia PTE LTD" for $23. Cheapest i saw was Toshiba , same 8gb class 4 at only $17. But i bought sandisk cause i trusted the brand more lol

Kingston was going for $30++ , dunno why so ex also.

lol adesmond2 , you tried already? I am still trying to charge the camera , manual says supposed to charge fully before first usage , and should see red/green light , i only see red/blue light after 9hrs of charging leh zZzZz...

The shop I went to, also sim lim square 5th level, has 8gb for $20.50.

I think we can write a better manual than the provided one. When charging,

blue light supposed to be on, red light blinking. When done charging, red and

blue light will be on.

ys ure right , the provided manual sux lol. Yea , i finally figured that out hahaha , i charged 4-5 hrs to bring it from empty to full batt.

As for my review...i just clipped the camera using its clip onto top of my jacket...works well enough for my phantom riding posture, didnt have to use any software...but the colour abit like washed out though...maybe my helmet created a shadow on it?

I tried both the voice and the normal , both works ok. Voice mode will record for 2 mins then stop , then auto starts another clip once the sound decibel is loud enough. So basically for a 28 mins ride , i got 14 clips of 2mins each , but strangely their file-size were all different , +- 50-100mb ! lol

What kind of deshaker software do u use ys? I scared put the cam on bike , then the mount will be difficult to remove etc? ppl might itchy finger and steal the mount leh...

how loud is "60db", the sound level required to turn it on automatically?

if just talk / yell into it will be loud enough or not?

the software is called virtualdub. runs in windows only.

deshaker is a plugin filter for virtualdub. i'm still learning

how to get the video processed nicely.

how to turn off the date (which is incorrect anyway)?

no idea , my engine sound was loud enough to keep it on liao lol

Anyway the date cannot be turned off , only change to correct date. Look at the procedure below : i think TF = transflash

7.Time set

There is a CD with the product which contains a file named time synchronization file.

Please copy it to TF card. When connect D001 with computer, whose time will be

displayed with computer synchronously.

The detail as following:

1. build a text called TAG.TXT under root directory of card.

2. open TAG.TXT,write synchronous date according to enclosure stricktly.

Details as following:

[date] need space with newline

2009/07/22 need space with newline

12:00:00

Power on the machine everytime, system will check and analyse TAG.TXT, then set

system time according to file time. After that the text will be deleted by system

automatically.

Push “ON/OFF” button to “OFF”, Systems will be completely cut off the electricity. So,

If need save right time. ”ON/OFF” button need push to “ON”, Then holding “M” button

to turn it off.If Push to “OFF” to turn it off then need reset when next turn

Copied this from their manual. However the cd that came along with mine doesnt work :(

Have no intention of upgrading my 'camera'. It can do ultra-long recordings for convoy runs and so it's perfect.
