Hey guys, i would really like to try to film my ride, was wonder what camera and what setup you guys is using, mind sharing??

Currently eyeing on a gopro 3 black edition. Still doing more research as im new to it. Would be great to hear some advise from some experience people here though:) tyvm!!

Around 270 buying with comgateway from the US store.

Local can buy from moto world but I think add 100+

 

 

 

I mount it on my helmet left side with the clip on provided. Comes with 3m double side tape, strong type. Also attach a safety line which is just a lanyard.

Can change battery (must have this option)

Light weight

I feel it has better video quality (just my opinion. Others may argue) and more robust. I would only choose the drift over the gopro if i die die must mount on helmet.

Contuar company close shop already. So if issue = your own problem. I also saw it when I was choosing and cheaper by almost 100 but found that it was "clearance" sales.

 

Gopro quality I also think better on specs. But to the naked human eyes is dependent on the viewer.

 

My condition is aero dynamic thus Gopro isn't an option for me. Lol

You are right, now that i look for it, i can't find any sources. But i was pretty sure i read it before. But apologise for my misinformation.

Can just diy. Some cameras come with mounts. Or you can just order a RAM mount

RAM mounts is a popular brand. Each piece is 30+. All sorts of pattern also have. Can remove, just extra effort. You wan you can also remove any part of your bike, get what I mean?

I found out that more and more cars love to imitate US Cop's PIT maneuver on bikes so that they can get the slot of being in front of you, I had another close call this morning again when another car tried to do PIT on me and I had to swerve to the double yellow line.

Moto world has. Call them to find out price. Orr u can buy 2 camera and diy. Cheaper than Moto world and better quality

Anyone tried a car dvr installed on bike. The car dvr is cheaper with better features except not waterproof. I found this C600 mini car dvr available locally for $30 with 1 year warranty and very good video quality 1080p.

Don't bother with this. The quality looks like 640 x 480 webcam.

 

Anyway, it only cost 10ish USD from aliexpress.com. $50 is daylight robbing.
