Any advise on where to service front forks?

I can feel that the damping on my showa fronts are getting from bad to worse. Worse still is that the 916 has lousy rear brake....

Hope to get some sound advise on where to service the front forks and the cost of it.

Cheers

Eric

Petrol tank was emptied when riding today. :giddy:

Now the bike does not idle so well as before and will die off even when it's warm up. Anyone has similar problem? How to resolve this?

The take-off from this incident:-

1) My bike can run to 286km on a full tank. :cheeky:

2) The reserve tank light is not working....

I guess they are all good. It depends on which guys you got your shocks from. Joe=Ohlins, Andrew=Bitubo, etc. They would know their products better.

The other time I had the idling problem too. After a good blast through the RPM does the bike idle better? My problem started when I changed the exhaust back to the original due to inpection while leaving the DP eprom in the ecu. When riding conservatively for a few times, the idling problem surfaced. I suspected that the bike was running rich becoz you could smell petrol from the exhausts when idling, removed the plugs and sure enough, it was fouling the plugs. My solution was to adjust the trimmer to reduce the fuel supplied at idle since I kind off misplaced the original eprom. Now it idles perfectly and runs like a bat out of hell...

My suggestion is to check the plugs 1st

Sorry Guys THE ORIGINAL GOLD is no longer suitable for display

the restaurant is Bloois, streetdirectory.com is down otherwise i share the link..maybe you can google Bloois' address.

From South Buona Vista after the corners, right to pasir pajang rd, then come to a traffic light, right into science park. From this traffic junction, u can see Shell Kiosk ahead on the right. Up the road, Bloois is on the left, big pond in front of it....

good luck!

PC3 USb is selling aprox $500.

There is none in singapore that can do a proper tuning but if its a baseline tuning i believe there is a couple of place here.

DO take note that a proper mapping is needed else the bike will be under utilised

Best tuning you have to ride to KL.

it really back fire a lot will the arrow full system...

guess i've got couple of choices

1) sell my arrow pipes and go for termi

2) get a DP ECU (which cost a bomb)

3) PC III (2nd hand set from US)

4) put the stock pipes back on and forget about the whole thing...

any suggestions are welcome!!

you might need to change the mid-pipe. do keep the arrow pipe

I believe ur bike setup is too rich. A race ECU will do the trick.

You do not need the PC3.

You will only need the PC3 to fine tune those flat spot that can only be seen from dyno charts. These flat spot are almost negligible.

hmmm.... a race ECU cost more than 1k.....

and putting back the cat.convertor back on, really defeat the purpose of using a full racing system.

really should of paid a few hundreds more for the termi.....

Well thats what the standard price is. Its consider a reasonable amt.

Even if you have the full Termis without the Race ECU its kinda useless.

pls remove the CAT. as mention above

racewerks is definitely selling the PC at $350-400.. plus tuning...

not sure how good they are, you might want to go down to take a look...

but i got the termis as it came with the ECU...so no re-mapping required for me...:)

In norm cases its not good to combine the PC3 and the Race ECU.

I have already check it out at Racewerks, a mention baseline tuning is ok at any tuning centre in sg but not a proper fine tuning
