Did you get to watch the SBK's first race? Did Haga dominated the race or close fight?

Tough to say... in both races there was only 1 other rider close to Haga, Neu--- on the Suz and Spies on the Yam. Both times you could see that one rider was faster than the other in the different sections of the track.

Since Haga started 13th or so in both race and finished 1st and 2nd - you might say he dominated.

It's close racing.....no domination I feel, but lots of racecraft involved, and strategy involved. Lots of strong riders this year. Suzuki is pretty much the fastest bike in the field, managing 310kph while the 1198 manage 299kph. Haga is strong at the 2nd half of the track. He choose to sit behind Neukircher and together they break away from the rest. Haga pound on the last 5 or 6 laps, only to have Neukircher strike back at the last lap....Haga took the lead when Neukircher had a slide and the gap was 0.032...Suzuki is fast but kills tyres, but still fast in the straights until the end of the race.

Race 2 is Ben and Haga. Haga led mostly but had to give up at the end when his tyre no more.

Great racing!

I will be rooting for Haga to get the title and Spies to come in second in the championship. Haga deserves the title after so many close second placings.

I am surprised to see Ben getting up to speed so fast with new bike and track. I must say that the new crossplane crank R1 manages the tyre very well and get good lap times from beginning of the race till the end without dropping off.

I'll be rooting for Ben. He's a great rider, 3x AMA champion and is underated just because only Mat Maldin and himself are fast and they happened to be riding the "best" bike in AMA, Yoshi Suzuki. But realistically, he's just a dark horse because it's his rookie year, plus the R1 is new to him and many tracks too, so unlikely he will win the championship. I just luv rooting for dark horses.

Not so sure about the crossplane and uneven firing helps the tyre wear or not because Ben's R1 was sliding around alot during race 2. The crossplane and uneven firing is good at keeping the traction in the turns, whether it helps tyre wear or not is anybody's guess.

Haga was using a soft front medium rear while Ben was on medium front and rear, and Haga never said which tyre was gone.

Lots of WSBK races are lost due to wrong tyre selections, including Troy Bayliss the King himself.

Can't wait for more racing....you guys can see it at worldsbk.com. It's free, just small screen....dun complaint

Apparently you did not read the post race interview....

“In race two I was again fighting, this time with Ben [spies] but he was very fast and by the last five laps my rear tyre was finished, so I had to settle for second,” said Haga. “I really enjoyed the race and I am very happy; my team has done a great job this weekend and I am feeling very comfortable on my 1198.”

Hi gents,

Does anybody know the rough price of a Ducati Monster 400?

Looking to buy one, but it seems like nobody on SBF is selling...

Any advice on buying a M4? Or should I wait till my class2 next year?

Cheerios,

A

Back at home in Sengkang, i heard a familiar bike sound passing by.

As i quickly looked out of the window, if i wasn't wrong, i think i saw a yellow 1098. I didn't knew someone had bought a yellow 1098. I've seen mostly red and 1 black 1098s.
