heehee... this morning was lovely, cool & cloudy, no sun, had a beautiful ride to office this morning. Bike feels great & looks great after coming home from spa.

 

Hope next Sun is as glorious as today for us to have a great meetup!

It should be 2011 1198 model because the $35,800 was for the 848 2011 model. Anyway i just place an order for the 848 evo. Bike will arrive either dec or latest Jan.

Under my double seat got a compartment for tool kit n owners manual, wonder if can use but i cant imagine the IU burried below so much foam can still be read by the ERP gantry... my seat not like you guys.... so duno can do or not... must ask Raymond to explore.

hi guys just got my 848 dark on fri running it in now. Cant wait for a meet up the bike is awesome it jus doesnt wan to go slow hahaha its really different form my other class 2 bikes. love the sound, say have any of u guys changed to a 14T front sprocket?heard it improves city riding. i think ducati should jus do away with the 6th gear i havent even used it yet hahaha. hope to see u guys soon....

Fellow Duc, from your experience is there any possibility that the 2011 1198 model will be 41K giving that the 2010 model is going for 44K??

 

If Pumpkin ha3d was being quoted 41K, really bad news for bikers who commit to 2010 model. In addition the new model have standard quick shifter, DDA and traction control, which was only found on 1098R.

I also need to know cause planning to have it fix below pillion seat. Seriously i got not much of a problem with ERP gantry but only with carparks where the barrel will only open when they scan your IU.

I was quoted for 41k for a base model 1198, 53k for a 1198s but seriously didnt get the price for the 1198sp.
