Nope, closed tomorrow. If you need to get something from there you'll have to do it by today or go on wed next week. I'm going down later to collect my bike also. Need to ride a brightly coloured bike during CNY to "huat" for the new year.

BTW, just a thought.

 

Seems like the standing order for exhaust now is $500 1st offence, $500 second offence, 3rd offence court case. Just thinking, if you have a previous offence and you change bike and kenna caught again, does that count as 1st offence again?

 

Or in your whole riding life you only have 2 chances to be caught for illegal exhaust before court summons (ie. the offence count is pegged to the rider)

Wat abt for 748? Are there any legal exhaust? I'm just bothered by e fact of LTA roaming your hse carpark and giving a tix on it

 

Hi bro, just wanna say thanks to ya for supporting my sales thread!

 

Anyway, if you are going for sound, you may consider "opening up" your stock muffler.

Goggle the modification procedure...The effect: you will get a bassy sound and plenty of

airflow (stock exhaust: ZDM14). Once upon a time I was a audio system/speaker designer,

if you are familiar with BOSE sound system, or BOSE sub-woofer technology....the ZDM14 is

using the same air-flow porting theory to achieve the frequency you are getting now...

By modifying the straight flow...you get louder sound and smoother top end...but you will

have to sacrifice the pickup. Earlier ducati have approval for higher exhaust noise threshold

about 92dB-95dB as compared to current 89dB-91dB.

The LTA guys did take pictures of the exhausts, so what do i risk changing them before going to inspection?

First of all, welcome to this ever-growing, exclusive club where the membership is by invitation only...

 

I suggest u reinstate all the stock bits before u go for the inspection else u would have to change the stock bits and return for another inspection anyways. LTA already have a photo and would send u the compound fine. The inspection is just to inconvenience u and to make sure ur vehicle is roadworthy.
