Happy Chinese New Year!

BTW, are we allowed to change our signal lights? For example, Oxford LED ones?

If factory fitted with LEDs yes u can change to LEDs of different styles.but if not fitted with LEDs n u use them,it is an offence.

Hi Guys,

Happy new year! Just want to share an experience with our dear agent. Really began to doubt the quality of the workmanship after my most recent encounter with the service centre.

1) Went in for minor oil leak and brake pad change. Rest of bike was working fine.

2) Bike came back with whacked rectifier and unstable fueling when engine temp is below ~60deg. I did not have either of these problems prior.

3) The mech convinced me the unstable fueling was due to the rectifier. Ok, so i got it changed, put it down to coincidental failure of the rectifier during servicing. Guess what, the fueling issue is still there. Can't even idle smoothly now. Thanks for the huge labour charge.

I'm going to bring it back this weekend to give the workshop a piece of my mind, but apparently i was told that in the last month 3 bikes came out of the workshop with spoilt rectifiers. Gee, that's not really confidence inspiring.

I don't mind paying if I get a problem free ride, but hey, this mech is messing up my ride man. Not happy about that at all. The mech in question is the rather prosperous looking one btw.

:( No chance of putting on the nicer looking Oxfords then. Luckily the stock ones also look cool ..

Sry to hear abt ur experience. Btw ducati rectifiers spoil easily. Especially if its not in a well vented location. I changed it at least once for every ducati i ever had.

Fuelling is the scary part...

Hi peeps.

This morning I saw coolant dripping here (refer to picture). Seems to have stopped after a while. Is this common/normal?

I don't like that guy to touch my bikes.. So far that Japanese looking guy with the small pony tail seems to be a better mechanic.

Still under warranty. Could it be due to too much whacking? As in .. aggressive acceleration.

If under warranty....u shld be on aggressive mode n sent back to agent if problem arise...

As per suggestion from one of our Duc community members, who suggested that it could be water in the fuel, I extracted the fuel from my tank and replaced with fresh fuel. Seems that the problem is indeed fixed now.

The question I have now is, WTF, why is there water in my fuel after sending the bike in to service??!!

@jan - I think i might just send in to Doc Ray as you suggest. But I heard he is overworked?

Wah .. don't want to be aggressive so fast lah .. they are also humans. If I am hostile, I'm sure they won't be very nice to me and my bike .. I'll bring the bike in this Saturday for a quickie :)
