may i ask what bike are you riding? & what difference did it made? the handling? thanks.

I was reading a bunch of Ducati forums and many were talking of the benefits of replacing the front sprocket with a 14T. So I swapped mine today and wow, what a difference it makes for city riding.

Hi all, I'm quite new to the bigger/4-stroke bike scene(specifically Ducs).. I need some advice on certain things, appreciate all your advice/advices..

1) If I want to install a slip-on exhaust, do I have to tune my bike..? Or is it just plug and play..?

2) If I buy a second hand RCS 19 masterpump and RCS 16 clutchpump from SBF, can I get Minerva to install it for me..? And if so, any idea of the labour charge..?

3) Is it advisable for me to change the sprocket size, eg. increase front or decrease rear sprocket..? Cause I feel that the bike gears are abit tall..

Thanks for your help..

1) you can just plug and play but performance wise will be affected. best to get it tuned.

2) minerva charges labour, it's $60 per hour if i'm not wrong. installing of those probably take 10-15 mins for each (x2) and that would probably be 0.5 hours = $30.

If u're patience in one moment of anger, u will avoid 100 days of sorrow.

Doesn't affect handling (steering) but just makes it far easier to ride at low speed without having to feather the clutch constantly -it makes the bike more liveable in city traffic.

My China fairing kit arrived yesterday...

IMG-20130328-00919.jpg

Still waiting on the 30mm triple clamp, tank mount and quick-release fuel cap from the US (I got a new red tank online from Netherlands) and adjustable rear-sets before I put it all together. I also have front and rear lights coming from China.

Still worried how a red Duc with red wheels will look (keeping an eye out for 2nd hand black wheels that I can keep race tires on)

Hi bros!

Im new to ducati n im riding an 848 sp.

Just wondering if there is any legal pipes for the bikes and where is the shop ?

Secondly, i intend to buy a dry slipper clutch, how much would it cost me n where to get it too?

Thanks in advance!

Hi akiim, i believe there are two legal pipes for ducatis 848, one is the termi titanium slip on and another would be the akra, i enquired with Minerva and cfm about the akra exhaust. But its quite costly to get one. im also looking for a legal exhaust as mine is currently illegal. Either i come out at night or play hide and week >

Btw, other than Minerva any other bike shop fellow bros here can recommand me to service my bike? My 12k servicing is due soon. Enquired with a motorshop and was quote 440+ for it, with black and white stated on what they will do.

Anyone selling an 848 2008/2009 model preferably in white? Been looking for a while but it seems the white ones are a bit less common. There's one in the for sale section but unfortunately frame was modded for aftermarket triple clamps which rules it out for me.

With termi's would be great, just PM me if you know of one or are selling one!
