my one full tank can use 10 days so pump in Sg still not so bad...

hard to have motivation to pump in Jb 3 times a week.. tired le

Yeah I agree with you... But when I do the math.. Sgd 2.2 per litre vs rm 1.90 per litre.... That's sgd 12 for my super 4 full tank, good to run 350km... Conservative estimate

sportsbike not worth it to make the effort to jb just for fuel, the heat & wear/tear & FC & the risk factors.

yup very true. oh so very true

that's one of the reason in my list to go jb.

life a bore without the risk.

heat? well. . . . i dont know why i own a bike in the first place if i consider the weather a factor. should have bought a air condition coffin

wear and tear? well . . . . . u cant run away from that if u own a machine. its either repair or every 3 years + change a new machine

yup im those crazy ppl who goes jb for fuel, food and dvds when end of the day the cost is the same.

fuel in singapore vs fuel in jb

=

just fuel vs fuel, food and dvds

hey did i mentioned anything regarding the weather? Heat is from the bike itself.

its indeed cost saving for certain bikes, slightly lesser for some particular bikes.

for sportsbikes IMO not worth it for just petrol. If go makan + petrol still okie.

Just some maths for you guys..

S4 Tank = 18litres... but i pump 15 litres at most.. don't dare go too far beyond reserve.

SGD $2.20/l for RON95 $2.20 x 15 = SGD$33

RM 1.90/l for RON95 RM 1.90 x 15 = RM 28.5

Conversion: RM2.40 = S$1. RM28.5/2.40 = S$11.88

Savings: $33- $11.88 = S$21.13

One week savings = S$21.13

One month savings = S$21.13 x 4 = S$84.50.

For me pump three times a week save S$63.38

One month save S$253.50

The analysis is, if you got a stable job paying well above $2k (which i assume you guys are)... what is $80 or $200 savings per month??? It's not really worth the time and effort to go in and pump.

But for me still struggling to find a job with little money to my name ... every penny saved is a penny earned

chill no need to get offended. not here to make any enermies. just stating a point which is different from u thats all.

not heat from weather. ok fine.

IMO class 2 sports/sport touring even naked bikes too. come to think bout it most class 2 bike are running hot in the first place.

anyways, there are timings to go jb where there not much traffic for bikes. only those who frequent to jb will understand the tides.

n yah, i am still one of those who rather go jb then to do ot. the savings/cost are about the same just that i rather sit on my hot bike then sit in an air condition room doing work aka ot.

Just too tired to go pump after whole day of work.

Stable job which is still struggling but not paying well as u mentioned :(

n yah, i am still one of those who rather go jb then to do ot.

i pump once a month there previously, now its 2 times a month, at least save half of my fuel expenses.

That is exclude cigarettes and food. Just petrol alone you think of it la 1 trip at least $20. At most you take 1.5hrs. where to get a part time job for $20 per 1.5hrs. So to say if you are free and not tired, go ahead lol. If pass by lagi worth to go in.

i agree with your statement.I am a non smoker so the cost saving is on the fuel only.. like what u say not tired then go in, will not put it on the must do list. Got a car too, hence my bike usage is very limited. so pump at Sg about 3 times a month only :dozed:
