Currently only about 18 left...used to have up to 26...maybe 30?

Very very often..maybe every new ARAI design out I'll buy and collect

Usually sell only if someone wants to buy my lids

15yrs at least

Hmmmm only got problem with TP if using illegal tinted visor...that's all

 

7.What’s the worst weather condition when wearing a helmet?

Rainy days...heavy rain especially coz got to polish and clean helmet thoroughly.

DEFINITELY!

Refer to answer #7 please.

A few broken bones and operations that's all..no biggie

 

11.If yes, what type of injuries?

Few stitches here and there and ACL Recon.

 

12.What happens to your helmet during or after the accident?And is it PSB approve helmets you are wearing?

95% of my helmets are PSB approved unless those I import from Japan or States directly. During accident the helmets stay intact on my head.

 

13.Will you wear a helmet that’s not PSB approved?

if yes. Why?

BEST to use with PSB approved but SNELL approved exceeds our PSB requirements so YES I'll use those non PSB approved as well.

 

14. Do you feel that road pollution is a issue to you when riding?

No comments.

 

15. How do you feel towards rider having to put a scarf or mask on their face when riding?

I use it at times too. Fashion statement as well as prevention from air pollution.

 

16. What's the one thing that you want to change for a helmet?

Maybe one day they'll come up with well ventilated lids like ARAI RAM system or the JFORCE ones. Head feels/thinks better with good ventilation air intakes.

Plan to change once a year but somehow one of mine always gets stolen then have to go and buy a new one.

Stolen/ when I feel it is too old

nearly 8 years

No big problems. Gets hot sometimes when stuck in traffic lights during the day(I use full face helmets)

Rain

Have to.

Light drizzle is irritating. Water droplets on visor, have to keep wiping regularly. Very frustrating

Yes but not too many.

 

11.If yes, what type of injuries?

A few sprains, ligament tears, stitches etc but nothing serious like broken bones (touch wood).

 

12.What happens to your helmet during or after the accident?And is it PSB approve helmets you are wearing?

So far it just stayed on. Badly scratched and needed to be changed but nothing much else.

 

13.Will you wear a helmet that’s not PSB approved?

if yes. Why?

I just buy ones I like. But prefer to buy PSB approved.

 

14. Do you feel that road pollution is a issue to you when riding?

Dry Sand from construction trucks make the road very slippery. Riding behind them is like getting hit by machine gun fire.

 

15. How do you feel towards rider having to put a scarf or mask on their face when riding?

I guess it protects from air pollution but I dont like wearing them.

 

16. What's the one thing that you want to change for a helmet?

Good ventilation I guess. (Would be helpful to find someway to prevent them from being stolen when left on the bike)

if it has been in any impact / drop. I had a self skid but didn't have any impact on my MHR so have not changed it

in Singapore 9 months, but have had a little bit here and there while on holiday in Thailand

i wear glasses, so sometimes have diff in adjusting glasses, would be great if could have prescription visors like some swim goggles.

 

heat and hair styling and all i guess is not an issue as it WILL be there

no diff in regular Singapore rain and shine, but occasionally does fog up in heavy rain when i forget to apply rain-x for more than a week

fogging, water dripping through visor / shell seal

usually have no issue with it on external of visor as i use rain-x

would be great if could have some sort of run off attachment for the neck area - think fire men helmets with a long back to avoid dripping down the collar

yes, self skid - 17 Oct 2009 along Mandai outside Mandai Hill Camp

 

11.If yes, what type of injuries?

 

no external as was fully kitted up head to toe, but slid on my back and hit my bum on the kerb - conveyed to NUH, and diagnosed with broken tail bone

 

12.What happens to your helmet during or after the accident?And is it PSB approve helmets you are wearing?

 

no helmet impact, IS PSB approved, but do explore other international standards like SNELL, DOT, Japanese, EU etc etc etc

if yes. Why?

 

Yes, as i have faith in the international standards, they cannot be below PSB requirements isn't it?

think: $30 PSB versus internationally recognized $800 Snell approved Shoei

yes, have read an article that some older motorcycle carbon footprints are higher than modern economical compacts as there is lesser regulation for 2 wheeler emissions vs 4 wheelers

as it acts as a nose cup & chin curtain & mask, of course not being permanently attached to helmet, it makes it easier for cleaning & washing

Helmet had to be scrapped - PSB helmets only so far. It does not mean that all non PSB helmets are poor in performance.

When ever i feel like it. But shelf life is 3 years. To be strict is 1.5years.

When cushion becomes soft. i.e you cannot have a full tightness of the helmet cushion.

Rain and vision blurr. And after rain it start to fog up. Singapore dun allow tinted visor.
