I was at the Executive Golf Course this morning...went there early because I wanted to play a quick round before the delivery men came to my place...but saw that it was crowded with people as I was driving in so I decided to just hit the range.

 

As I was walking to the range, I noticed this black bike parked there. It looked really nice from a distance. The lines that defined the bike looked like they were lovingly sculpted by a master artist. As I got closer, I noticed the familiar 6 letter word on the tank...DUCATI...and then it dawned on me that I am looking at my dream bike (the Monster) up close. It was breathtaking!!!

 

Few bikes would capture the heart like a Monster. It made my day!!!

 

I never got to meet the owner even though I stayed around as long as I could...which is too bad for me.

 

I think biking for a lot of people is a mode of transportation. They take their bikes are vehicles to get them from point A to B. Its functional. But to me, biking is about an expression of my spirit. It can inspire and make an otherwise dull day beautiful.

 

In any case, if you are the owner...thank you for making my day!!

I know I am thinking WAY ahead of myself here. But I think anyway. Haha. So...am gonna get me a scrambler looking Class 2B bike (which I intend to keep), then a Class 2A Ducati Monster S4R (which I also intend to keep), and then a Class 2 Hypermotard type bike. Well...at least thats what I think for now.

 

So nice to dream...hmmm....

Anyone seen the new ducati street fighter.. That really touched my heart man.. I really really wish to see one on the road.. But in reality "IF" I can afford it.. My height don't even allow me..

 

Even on my s4, i'm already tip toeing.. btw i'm 162 and i love the sound of a ducati.

M400 Monsters are obsolete already. Used ones are at least 5+years old.

The smallest monsters now are 696cc

Can always shave the seats, install lowering links or shift your butt more to the side when stopping. If you really wanna do it, surely there's a way; I'm 162 too, hahaha!

I've ridden a 400cc Monster before. Yes, it is a SWEET ride, and it handles beautifully.
