Hi to all Fazerians,

 

Currently my bike (Fazer 6S, 2005) have trouble starting. I am not sure if this is normal. Please do advise me.

 

Situation 1: After turn my key to ON, the lcd screen goes as per normal. However when i press the ignition button nothing happens. A few times pressing also nothing happen. Then after a while then when press, it will crank and start.

 

Situation 2: Error 53 displayed on the LCD during startup.

 

Situation 3: During riding the immobiliser red lcd light will blink.

 

All these happen at different times. But at all times it seems hard to turn the key from OFF to On. On the road when riding, everything is fine.

 

Please do advise me.

Hi to all Fazerians,

Try checking ur fuses!!! Probably the ignition fuse already kaput!!!! Or probably like some said it before....have to turn key FULLY to ON!!?? :confused:

Assuming that it is the fuse.....Can the replacement be done at HL only or can i go to other shops?

Fuse can go other shops. DIY also can. Just have to know which one blown out (must check the ohms). LAB & sim lim tower got sell fuse. 50 cents per fuse each according to last year rates. :cheeky:

Can't find anything abt error 53. Here's what I think is possible,

 

1) the ignition sensor either in ur key or immobiliser is faulty. Try another key and see if that works.

 

2) Your key isnt turned all the way, lube ur key and ignition a little bit.

 

3) If ur on an 05, check if ur TPS has been changed. (dis one need to go to dealer)

 

4) ignition contact loose, check ur wiring

 

Try the easy ones first. If all else fails go back to HL. G'luck:thumb:

Hmm its not the starter button...i think could be the immobiliser unit.

 

Will try to put WD40on the key and placeit into the ignition dulu.

 

I know that error51, 52 and 53 is something to do with the immobiliser.

All keys can switch on....jus that nakpush start tuu...sometimes naothing happen.

lebih afdal kalau tukar logcard sekali.... :thumb:

 

lagipun harga spare part motor zaman sekarang da melampau........satu set chain + 2 sprocket (depan, belakang) bole jejak SGD 18K!!! :help:
