try spray some WD40 to lub the key hole lock mechanism?

 

Thank you sir. I did that but to no avail, I was thinking to seek the unorthodox way to resolve the problem myself without breaking the lock urgently. However I had went down to Givi service centre to replace with a new lock the next day eventually.

Hi all, I had been using Givi top box E350 for more than 2 years, out of sudden I was unable to open the box with the key. Everything as per normal before, just that this evening when I insert the key and could not open it, the key in the slot but cannot be turn. May any experienced bros give some guide or solution for my problem? Thanks

 

Last that happened to me, i had to saturate the lock with wd40 and press the box lid down hard when opening. HOw much did the replacement lock cost?

I used to use a 48L box brand was zues. Can fit 2 half face helmet so comfortably. I really miss it.

Try bike shops for a second hand one. Or ahboy for a new one. personally i feel the rack can get second hand but a new box dont. Anyway, dont try to wax it.

am using Shad48 and spaciously fit 2 full face. The double lock is an interesting feature, price abt $180++ ah koon

IF you're particular abt quality and good looks, in my opinion Shad address both.

Get the E21 side box, quality is pretty good, but LAB got no stock for since last week. They only mounted one side, said it was the last piece and must wait at least till next week. Called today and they said at least next week again. So bike is a bit lopsided. Would have bought elsewhere if i knew i'd be stuck with only right side, but paid money already, wtd? Rainy weather driving me nuts

Yah, that's my worry. They gave me a name card with some scribbling saying to come back with it. When I left their workshop another person was going to install one side only as well. So I asked the dude WTF? He was sold one side as well, but he said it was a white box. Mine is black. Guess there's a whole bunch of lopsided bikes around from LAB.

 

Hope they have it as promised by next week as I need it for work.

Sometimes people get into accidents and damaged only 1 side, so only replaced 1 side.

So got other side spare to sell.

yes definitely need to. usually ppl relocate to license plate there.
