heh.. sometimes.. ppl last min gotta b at a location first ting tml morning.. cant afford be late.. look ard online will take time also.. not tt i din search.. most only provide information for cars no? we can only depend on riders for riding information.. yes.. balmoral is the one wif waffle town.. i go the gothere.sg website and try and look the roads ard using the streetview.. i see a space to squeeze in but the pic might b a few years old liaoz.. so dunoe whether still thr anot.. i do see a bike behind the building.. once again.. not sure if its still the same parking arrangement thr.. in any case.. tml i'll know.. in the meantime.. any alternative parking available around the area for motorcycles you know of? or anyone know of?

i parked at ACS barker.

it's free parking for bikes.

then i walk over to.

it's around 200-300 meters, not including the overhead bridge.

then i walk over to.

it's around 200-300 meters, not including the overhead bridge.

 

no prob.. i was thr today and actually can squeeze in thru the side and park behind building or at the basement carpark.. but quite scary to go down basement carpark.. the road is turn around and around and around type.. the swirling type.. but very small rounds.. i see the walls like "seasoned" already.. thr r ppl who park just behind the building on the pavement and since they seemed to be thr for quite sometime le i supposed shld b fine to park thr.. my first contribution to parking guide.. ha.. *POP* the cherry here liaoz..

Hi guys -

 

So I decided to spend a bit of time on this, and the result is: We now have an interactive MAP of the parkings for motorbikes for Singapore !! Viewable from both a laptop and a smartphone when on the go.

A few things to note :

 

The (very) good:

1- This gives geolocalised info on where are the closest parking lots

2- Super interactive, with zoom features, detailed info on the bubbles, Filter on FOC/OOB/PAY etc...

3- Exhaustive list based on knowledge/feedback from this forum

4- Accessible from laptop and from smartphone

5- Super easy to maintain

 

 

 

The not so good:

1- This is based on the info that was outlined on this page a couple of days ago (needs to be updated with latest info)

2- I did not manage to have 3 different colours for now, but this is an improvement that will need to happen. FOC/OOB/PAY still noted for each bubble. But filter works as a plan B.

3- Some landmarks were not recognised automatically by Google, so have been placed at 1.352083, 103.819836 by default. They would need to be corrected

 

 

This can be easily maintained with just one person / a couple of people, or alternatively by anyone (but then there is a risk of crashing the data if misuse). Anyone interested to take this tiny task on ? It is just about updating a couple of cells in a spreadsheet. So no big deal. Otherwise I can post the instructions for everyone to update directly.

Avoid Four Seasons Hotel at all costs.... Was in a hurry and didnt check out the rates. Anyway, saw a number of small bikes there. So thought it must be cheap. On the way out kenna charged $18.00. Wtf?

I was stunned and thought it was a mistake. Just called them and confirmed the rates as:

$4 first hr, after that $2 per half hour.

Hi guys -

 

So I decided to spend a bit of time on this, and the result is: We now have an interactive MAP of the parkings for motorbikes for Singapore !! Viewable from both a laptop and a smartphone when on the go.

A few things to note :

 

The (very) good:

1- This gives geolocalised info on where are the closest parking lots

2- Super interactive, with zoom features, detailed info on the bubbles, Filter on FOC/OOB/PAY etc...

3- Exhaustive list based on knowledge/feedback from this forum

4- Accessible from laptop and from smartphone

5- Super easy to maintain

 

 

 

The not so good:

1- This is based on the info that was outlined on this page a couple of days ago (needs to be updated with latest info)

2- I did not manage to have 3 different colours for now, but this is an improvement that will need to happen. FOC/OOB/PAY still noted for each bubble. But filter works as a plan B.

3- Some landmarks were not recognised automatically by Google, so have been placed at 1.352083, 103.819836 by default. They would need to be corrected

 

 

This can be easily maintained with just one person / a couple of people, or alternatively by anyone (but then there is a risk of crashing the data if misuse). Anyone interested to take this tiny task on ? It is just about updating a couple of cells in a spreadsheet. So no big deal. Otherwise I can post the instructions for everyone to update directly.

just to take note to the rest is that the SMU LEE KONG CHIEN building indicated there is located near allson hotel which is actually the SMU administration building so riders dun go the wrong direction

the building shld be near a cathedral and diagonally opposite CHIJMES
