san853: did you import this bike? I've been looking for the one in Full Throttle movie. Is yours the same one? I'm aware of SPR version (the one in your pic) and 3MA (2 pipes from under seat).

 

How are parts available for this bike?

 

Who's the owner of the FN red TZRR in Teck Whye, near the mosque?:confused:

Mine is the 3MA, I blended 3XV parts into the original 3MA. The exhausts still travel under the seat, juz like the GPbikes, but the rims and fairings are from a 3XV.

 

I'm staying at CCK. I don't recall a TZR125R around Teck Whye, near the mosque. I frequent the mosque every Friday. That Italian is a fabulous machine, juz that the young riders who once owned them did not know how to take care of the bike. Its a high RPM bike, and needs to move fast frquently. But to the thinking of the youngsters, Drag is Speeding.....Speeding is moving at high speed on high gear. Dragging is to move towards a high speed on a low gear.... :mad:

 

As such, several good 2-stroke 125cc bikes never last. In everyone's perception, those are problem bikes, which in fact its usually problem bikers. There goes the demise of Aprilia RS125, Cagiva Mito, Honda NSR125, and Yamaha TZR125R ....Lovely Italians... :cry:

oic...yes indeed 2-strokers fail fast cos of their high RPM and fast wear-out...I love my TZRR but have to scrap it next year.

 

hmm saw the TZRR, really a good paintwork!

My suggestion is...keep your TZR. It will be a rare item soon. Juz give her a fresh new 10-year COE. Or at least give her to the next good home...

yes I want to keep my TZRR...was hoping to change everything to new...ie sai tau, faring, tail piece, exhausts etc etc...doing a restoration will be good cos I really love this bike :)

3XV never made to our shores due to emission. Not many 3MAs left. I've got 2 such examples left, but not for sale....

hiz pple... i am a new 2B holder. i am tinking of getting a TZR125. but worried tat it may give a lot of prob... ani advice 2 gimme as to wad kind of bike 2 take? plan 2 ride 1 yr then let go cos wanna upgrade to 2 S4 after 2A though it is still a long wait. thanx... :thumb:

If u already planned to upgrade to S4 aft u get ur 2A licence,then I tink that TZR is suitable for u.Hmm...TZR isnt a problem bike itself,it all depends on the owner that u buy it fr...hav to find a reliable bike loh.Then aft riding for 1 yr,then can upgrade to S4 liao...

okie... but it seem that the pple selling tzr now are like bloodsuckers. they are selling all at a standard price of 800. my friend whu bought it like 2,3 yrs ago bought it at 800 too! he bought it at a motordiam somemore... then some pple selling tzr i see the conditions are like beri old n wanna gone liao le. i guess a reasonable price fer TZR FJ plate is abt 500-550 i guess. if not damn bo hua liao le... anyway, can i ask a qn? wad is the top speed fer tzr?

wow... tat is like not bad liao le... top speed 150 and above. i heard frm pple whose tzr top speed is not even 100!! :sweat:

there are 3 models of the so called TZRR u all keep typing~

 

TZR125R, TZR125RR, and TZR125R SP
