I had tyres changed there before. Requested M3 for my Vtech. Ok price liao, fit the front tyre liao, 2 hours pass liao, then tell me no rear M3 tyres.

Took out the front tyre, change to BT021, I requested tyres pumped to 275 rear and 225 front, or at least thereabout la... Mech mouth say ok, can. Done liao, i take out my own digital tyre pressure gauge, only pump 200kpa. Dun want to pump can say, i can pump myself, dun mouth say ok hand never do. I'm very particular about tyre, once the wear is uneven, I'll have to live with bad tyres for several months. How to touring and ride fast in peace? But i must say... Their prices are still good, ou just have to keep your eyes open when they are doing your bike, just like at LAB. I'm getting Hel brake lines from them, cause their prices are still the best, 130 for front only, with installation 145. Only thing I contemplating is... maybe should install at my regular mech. More money, but i trust the worksmanship.

 

Only thing I'm wondering is... with some of things some people say in this forum, how come no one kenna warning or libel suit sia? I mean... this is Singapore right? Shouldn't someone get the heat already? Just sharing my experience with them. Quite happy overall still and will go back.

Like waht i did. Buy the tyre from them & get ur trustworthy mech to do it for u. Pay abit extra better than revisit again & again.

e problem is when we buy tyre from them, e price is included in e installation of e tyre. if we MUZ pay them extra, it doesn't make sense at all.e problem for them are, they love to talk c*ck, talk til they forgot wat they shld do for their customer. i ever told his boss dis, dun promise wat u cant keep.

haha..do you look their boss flash photo on ad?? He would like to talk to you that "trust him"..then he will fix problems. If he does not keep his promise, he will ruin his shop day by day.

I heard a lot of story about their so call "good" service. So I ask the boss just the price for the tyre. So end up i got the tyre at $265. Paid aditional $25 for my mech to install+balancing. I think is worth doing it for extra $10.

 

Well, this is just what i'm thinking only. Nothing personal ya.

I had my tyres fixed at HKL b4 , so far its been quite a smooth encounter . Anyway , juz make the mech happy , tok **** to him n watch him do ur bike , along the way , juz tell him wat u need to touch up on .

 

In the end , they even wash my rims tat look like it went off rd untill like brand new .

know what's weird? i get the best service from hkl mechs, even better than hong leong workshop. ah meng and ah keong

 

as for the boss, he's a low life, always bad mouthing other shop owners and talking big

we r customer, shld we make them happy or they make us happy? i m weird. i dun really agree da customer is always rite. but think abt it, we pay HKL to get e goods da we warn and they r e 1 hu give us so much confident n words da they will do for us, but ended up we get nth but gained anger. basically we visit bike shop, we have nth to b particularss abt, jz go there n hope da they can fix our problem da our bike have, if they wanna go more extra thing like help u to check ur chain or inform u da ur tyre air pressure is not sufficient, of cuz, we will b thankful to them. but if they nv do etra, we oso nv complain. instead of fixing our problem we have, they give us more truble and problem.

 

if a bike shop have a good reputation and e shop r well known for their good service(but not talking c*ck), they dun have to advities their bike shop in forum. perhaps i m bein bias, but seriously, HKL cannot make it.

so far all minor stuff...for me i feel u need to build this bond wif the mech. stick to one mech and he'll do ur bike sui sui. but recently it seems the price a bit of a pinch. still cheaper then other bikeshop lar...but LAB still cheaper in price wise. but i rather go HKL mech than LAB. hahahha ups lar for u ah bee.. never fail to give good price for our team.. ahahaa

last time i my front brake lever broke.. wanna change one orgi honda one.. then the mech say hav.. so i wait n wait.. then later the mech say no stock le... if i wan they order for me n got to wait for a while more... then i say ok lo... then while waiting, wait quite long le.. then he keep telling me that no point changing to origi lever.. stil the same... cause i waited quite long le.. so i say ok lo, use orgi one.... then he show me one lever "one side onli" super chrome... then i though new one cause super chrome.. after fixing i jus go.. then while adjusting the brake knots...then i notice the brake lever one side super chrome one side dull liao... then i was piss off.. cause from the look i know its sec hand one, plus got scratches... WTH... sell me sec hand thingy for 15 bucks...

but i think the day will come... bcoz they dunno how to keep their regulars customers happy.

Class 2B = change tyres

Class 2A = change tyres

Class 2 = also change tyres

 

cheap tyres indeed very good

 

other kind of service or problem. better not. coz some of their mechanics too slack neva put effort on ur bike. Worst still one with gold chain around his neck only know how to talk **** sing song. CMI.

no more am i gg to support HKL anymore...so wat if some of their stuff are cheaper....i rather go LAB liaoz....just fixed a rear hugger for my s4 today...knn...that rear hugger not for vtec one...cannot fit properly...then the stupid fooking ah keong....anyhow knock here knock there...never do a gd job for mi...nehneh...sian1/2...maybe tml morning go down gan them liao...fook sia...make mi pissed off onli
