"Hi i'm curious why motorbikes are not allowed entry into the Sentosa Island. We take up less space than cars and i'm sure it won't be a problem allocating bike lots on the island. I don't mind paying to ride in but even that is not allowed. It don't make sense and i hope you can give me a valid reason? I'm sure us bikers will be more willing to visit Sentosa more often if we are allowed to ride in and park there. Will consider gathering a petition from fellow bikers to make you change your rules on motorbikes. Do get back to me thanks."

No lah i believe bikers know their limits. You don't see cars racing inside right? Do show your support don't pour cold water..if they do ease the rule on motorbikes everyone will be happy

It is easy to find riders boost how they play 99 corners. Not a few even boost such in public forum. With all these, so you think Sentosa will allow bikes in? Do you think they know their limit?

 

You went through Army, and you know all you need is 1 sabo king to spoilt the show.

 

Bikers know their limit? Is this what you see on the road?

 

Remember it is 1 sabo king biker that raise the riding age limit from 16 to 18 about 10 years ago.

 

Wanna to know why Sentoas allow cars, and not bikes? Access TP data and you will know why.

install speed camera in there. Speed limit to 50km/hr. Send the pictures to TP for violations of traffic regulations. This shd curb the speeding.

With red light camera, pp still beat red light. No wonder TP raise from 6 to 12 points for beating red light. And pp still beat red light.

 

Installation of speed camera help? It still take many candid pictures. Increase points in 1999 also like that.

 

Many motorists become good boys and girls after seeing these machinces, but many are not deferred by it also.

 

I also wish to ride to Sentosa, but we have to look at the whole picture.

some bikes are Damm noisy lah... worst are those harleys...

i never ever fancy the loud noise it makes..

 

this is not some country side.. this is sg, and the noise harley makes is pure deafning...

 

and what about those under 200cc kubs, and those mod exhaust bike..

then sentosa.. will no longer be peaceful..

 

and u know JB bikes any how park here and there.. freakin spoilt the scenery

 

anyways im a biker.. and i know there are responsible bikers..

if only there was a way to tell them apart from the black sheep.. the onces that spoilt the market..

Yupe.. tt is what they need.. Then barricade or bar all bikes from entering further will do.. Of course they can implement a fine or sort for any offence..

and scramblers can easily have abit of off-road fun in sentosa...given the layout! thus the safety concerns...

Unless the Sentosa management line up a list of restriction what type of bikes can go in.......eg no trailing bikes, racing bikes o bikes producing 2 much smokes o noise etc).

 

Or the final suggestion, allow all the bikers to park at the entrance after the bridge....

The more difficult it is, the more shiok it is for hell-riders. Then they can show off. Ask those TP in the 80's that involved to chasing illegal racers, and you will now why.

Put restriction on certain bikes - that will consider discrimination by those kanna restricted. Do Sentosa will want to waste time to handle these complain? Nowadays SG pp like to complain.

 

So to fair, entry or non entry for all bikers.

 

Also, can non-bikers who man the booth can tell the different of different bikes brand & model? Some bikers also can not tell the different bewteen different make of cars.

 

Once Sentosa allow pp to park near visitor departure area, there will be sabo kings trying their luck to ride further inside Sentosa. Give them 1 meter, they want 1 KM

 

What is the different different between parking near the bridge or visitor center and parking near WTC? Not much actually - still can not ride inside

Agree, sheltered parking with a linkway to the monorail station or bus stop is a MUST. Er, is this too much to ask?

yeah.. maybe should have a place for u to spd pass with top spd and than snap.... post card with u on bike at top spd and with spd stated there... then they will have 2 copies... one for u and another for TP

Do you understand behaviour of illegal racing? Go to TP file on 80s, when illegal racing was a serious social problem, and then you understand.

 

Illegal racing has little or even no regret for anything and anyone.

 

Have you seen cars & bikes go through humps at more than 60KmH at Car park?

 

What is the cost of ecomony damage to tourism done if Police has to seal of entrance/exit? Like the only fatal accident in fantasy island, all you need 1 incident to have unlimited damage.

 

Instead of waiting for police to act, they simply don't let bikes in. Simple & safe for every1.

What we need is a big public carpark near the bridge to sentosa... The one near WTC is always overcrowded.

this is my feedback to Sentosa

 

'to become a world class tourist attraction, u got to start with the locals first. for a start, why not allow motorcycles into sentosa? if cars are allowed, why not motorcycles? they pay, we too can pay. they pollute the air, we polute lesser.

 

please, not all locals drive, and if u allow motorcycles to go in sentosa, definitely your attendance will go up by at least 20% more!'
