material is soft, lighter so u will feel lighter when u whack.

but

material is also not durable, wear off faster and ur alternator might damage.

thats y normally only race use vehicles equip with those, even some mme vehicles doesn't even use those for endurance race.

is not that is totally not suitable for street as long u can afford the repairs and constant replacing of the alu pully.

workshop recommends 3 to 6 months for street useage type of vehicles. Pully is cheap, labour is ex, skills to fit belts back correct point is priceless.

hard to maintain unless u r a trackie and willing to invest or too rich, otherwise for daily drive - shopping/work/home/sch, i dun see the point.

I wonder, why is it a waste?

I think what throttle meant was that a vios, no matter what you do it will not make it a MR-S or Celica.

^you're not an automotive fan^

Of course... He's not electrically operated. He cannot help you to cool down your engine bay.

just imho la hor?

i think some owners of their cars (or bikes!), be it a 300k r35, or a 50k toyota vios (just as example hor), just wants either to be different, wants more power, or just simply likes to modify their cars. modding a car... be it for performance or asthetics, its always to the owner's liking yes?

there is prolly quite a few toyota vios around, that can actually keep up with a mr-s OR celica. not only on the straights, even the bends too.

for me, i cannot afford to maintain a uber car like throttle (was it a bm?). its really expensive to own a car in singapore. but seriously i do like my car, and i do like to add some 'mods' from time to time. i dont see it as a 'waste of money' *shrugs*

prolly SOME people are the same as me i think :)

:offtopic: so how are you man, havent seen you in a while  i'll be back in june, have coffee then yes?

Reservist in May, then business trips to Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan in June and July. Unless the unrest in Thailand is not resolved. Indonesia and Malaysia is in the pipeline. We should synchronize our time by phone. How's daddyhood? It must be good exercise.

Seen before already. Wait till you sees it. But not i see it la. That is the WOW thing abt it being able to nego the bend at 180kph. FYI its a bend, not a corner. An E'way bend.

:thumb:

actually depends on how 'bend-ed' is the bend la hor?

just imho, i think the vios is an amazing car! i have quite a number of friends driving it... wow..!
