My friend, u are probably facing the same problem i faced 2 weeks ago. Due to the missing oil in the sus, the rebound is not dampened. therefore, when compressed, it'll rebound back as fast as it goes down.

Ur rear sus is gone...

 

Got to add this, maybe this is a little hope to you.. but very highly unlikely..

Ur sus may be set with a high preload and low dampening (someone correct me if i'm wrong with this) Wrong setting of sus so u :bounce: around on highway...

 

Abt the closing throttle, maybe u r facing backfire, this i cant confirm.. maybe some experts in the thread can help u c and save u money, else my reccommendation is u go to a mech, let them take a look. Go look for 2nd sus, then get it changed. Some say Planet got a lot of 2nd hand parts, but i cant find the rear sus there, so u have to try ur luck. :goodluck:

so sad and wasted that g4 OEM sus cannot be rebuilt. Oil finished, tt means cannot be opened and top up oil! Zzzz

Design flaw.. they must have a reason.. however, the MSP and KSP models seems to be a more sporty bike so it has a rebuild feature..

arghhhhhhh!!!! My Gixer is on MC liao...Thnk i will got back from teh shop by tuesday.....So sad that i can join teh chalet thing liao....:cry: :cry: :cry:

 

Btw anyone can tell me where is teh cheapest place to change X ring chain and spocket....You guys recommend for 15 front and 44 rear rite...Does Afam rear have 44 teeth as well??? Think of putting it gold leh....Anyone feel free for comments abt the chain and spocket...:help: :help: :help: :confused: :thumb:

Alex,... with afam sprockets how much? If price is around what Planet quoted me $220 for DID X Ring with original Suzuki sprockets. I might consider changing to afam next mth after getting pay.

its even cheaper leh afam sproc.

 

tat time i ask they quote me $210 only with afam front n rear.. on the phone la..

Icez: hey thanks man.. mine is FL. btw 2 digit no.plate is worth how much ah? pipe is slightly mod. but inspection still pass.. dun understand how. CO level?

 

Shawn: that time couldnt get bike cuz cant pay u full cash ma.. lol.. now got cash liao. mogu's bike is ok so far rode 4 days no probs but tiring gf stay pasir ris, i stay bishan n sch in town.. ride like mad.. wrist pain at first but couple of frens who ride gsx b4 said its normal at first. so u guys arrange outings n stuff? pretty cool bunch eh.. =) nice to meet u guys

how to hang helmets on this bike ah?? the rear seat there

i know there isnt any things for us to hang, but can we do something to it so we can hang?

there is a little hook together with the keyslot of the rear seat.

put yer key in and turn anticlockwise to lower the hook, hang yer helmet by the D-rings, turn back clockwise to secure. :)

Custom a metal hook in ur rear seat....Could hang there while riding....because the orginal hook that we have, helmet will hit the chain protector.

If you exhust pipe slightly mod., & the noise lever is still allright, they will still pass you. If your exhust pipe is too noisy, inspection centre will fail you under the LAW of National Environment Agency (NEA).

the tong* pipe u mention is 1/2 tong..no worry.

we do hav outing...mayb u'll like to pm me ur numb..btw soon we goin kulai/perlin again

 

ranfief-besides those tactic..u can also tight a cable tight on the rear bracket..den put a caribeanna.

Halo Gixxers. Sorry to intrude ur thread.

But cant wait to get ur kinda bikes when I go for 2A in early December.

 

Just a question, did any of ur bikes ever broke down on you before? :confused:

 

Kinda scared of that. Is there any way I can do to prevent this? Like changing battery to a new one immediately once I get my ride (if there's any left by then)?

onglai: haha its like this wan.. tat time my leg will cramp somemore.. haha.

 

Wilson: Front 15 rear 44 is recommend n so called stock size. Some pple change to F 14 Rear 46 to make their troque stronger.. but makan more petrol n very fast must change gear liao if not u'r entering da 'shiong engine' zone.. 15 44 is just nice. I myself used 15 44 , 14 46, 15 46 and lastly 15 44 on my bike. Still prefer 15 44. Just nice

NAZ-fyi...its nt easy to find a gd condition G4...depends ur lucks..n it better to ask one of stuff here to accompany u.beside wear n tear prob...due to the age of tis bike..u hav to beware...so..no harm try ur luck...btw ichro sellin his g4 soon..which is in damn gd condition.y i noe?coz we are rider too...lolx.
