Just to share with everyone so tat we can learn from each others' experiences.

 

At traffic light, light turned amber. picked up my speed to clear the traffic light. 2lane and i was on the right. approaching cars turning right (2lanes for turning right) waited for me to clear the traffic light.

 

out of the sudden, this taxi did a u turn instead of turning right. i need to swerve so much tat i nearly hit the kerb. if u dun understand, i drew out a picture of the situation.

i guess most of taxi driver are like this........not tat i m bias against them......sumtimes they are reckless.....

Guyz do ur Bike Stall easily in the Rain

Usually after Rain wen i start the Engine, Idle for like 5 mins then wen i 1st Gear the bike will Die ??? I need 2 Throttle a bit then kick fr Neutral >>> 1st Gear Izzit anyting got to do wif the Carbeurator ???

 

1 more thing y wen i switch on the key >>> the Oil Light comes up but wen i start the Engine the Light goes off

hey, ur pic fits exactly wat happened to mi the other time i was in an accident... i was different, i didn't manage to swerve in time, and then overturned... ended up in hospital.. haI~.. guys do be careful of sucj situations...

hah! deja vu.. that was EXACTLY what happened to me 1.5 yrs back when I first started riding.

 

except.. there was a collision, and I was on the left side of the road instead of the right side. got abit of phobia now of such junctions. always slow down and anticipate EVERY driver making an illegal u-turn. hahaha..

1)if u able to find 2nd hand parts...its nt hard to find anyway...price range is about wat had Qiang* hadmention...or mayb slightly higher...but still u able to find new parts for a 10yr old bike.but price r ...haha

 

2)wat can i say..depends ur luck..coz u can juz test the bike for awhile..u muz realli ride for a sometime.wear n tear items otherwise...

1st qn, when's the last time u changed the air filter? chances r air filter is either wet or dirty...

2nd qn, it's normal, unless u willing to spend on new clutch relay and plates

3rd qn, the oil light shows that there's no oil in the engine, however once u start the engine, the oil will flow into your engine, thus no light when engine is started.

Ignition brand new cost abt $150. I suggest u go to Ah boy, beside his shop there's a locksmith, u can ask him make a key for u at $10. The key will open ur seat, tank and lock/start bike. I got it done there.

Er i dun think the filter got to do with the difficult to start prob.

 

1. When was the last carb washing done?

2. when u park ur bike in the rain, cos its an old bike the water will seep around the spark plug socket. when water gets in or the socket is moist, its dfficult to start. I suggest either u change ur cables or u park it out of the rain at least with a good canvas perhaps. Worn out canvas will allow water to seep in too.
