Hi Riders,

Can the rear shock absorbers be soften by myself or shall I sent it to the bikeshop?

I squatted beside my new wife and saw some numbers on the bracket. What does those mean and any ways to adjust?

Kinda feel like my rear is freakin stiff.

soften or stiffen the rear shock can be DIY...

Steps:

1. get a C-tool(for me i use a monkey tool) that can fit into the grooves of the crown at the rear shock stem

2. latch on and turn...one direction for stiffen and one direction for soften(forgot which is which, trial and error)

3. 7 clicks will lead to one loud thud(each thud means u r one level up or one level down depending on the direction u turned)

Bro whats a monkey tool?

Do we need to dismantle the seats or anything? Or can we just access from the open part below the seat?

Many thanks again!

a monkey tool(or a gastong as my dad likes to call it) is like a small handheld vice-clamp... easily available at your frenly neighborhood hardware store...

no nid to dismantle anything...jus use the open space near the rear shock

1 is for softest? But is there any datum pointmarks on the stem itself? I couldnt find any leh..

Dang.. my shocks does not bounce me up at all when we encounter some humps..

All the shock is absorbed by my meaty, bubbly, fat-hardened a55!!!

Yes stardust, its easy. Just plug out the bulb holder and replace.

Its using a T2 bulb.

I am thinking of stuffing two bulbs into the hole... ok that didnt sound right but really dim speedo man. No nice. But donnoe how it will react tho.
