hey guys, the G4 tt i am gg to get has got very soft rear suspension. is there anything we can do about it? cuz i heard it's a common problem.

 

how much will a new rear shock set me back? :confused: :confused:

no point changing. not a common problem for G4, but a common problem for all bikes over the age of 10 yrs.

No more regrets.

normal one cost ard $15-$18

bubble type is $20+n above.

yes..due to the age...

but there r 2ways...

rebuild it...cost ard few hundred

buy a new set which cost a bomb..better nt to mention

 

soft suspension may cause u...unstabelize when cornerin

shorten ur wear n tear lifespend.especially u always pillion

I'd hate to burst ur bubble but gsx stock suspension cannot be rebuilt. either you get a new shock or another 2nd hand one..... or an aftermarket one.....

If you are 'adventurous' can try to find shocks from ebay to replace the old one on your G4.

 

Btw I just received my 98 Katana 750 rear shock, will be installed on my bike next week.

If I am not wrong, someone is trying to let go his rear suspension of G4 for like $400. Donnoe whether its still on sale cos I kept seeing it being put up for auction repeatedly.

Luckily, nothing that cannot be resolved peacefully.

 

Wow...2nd anniversary. From the 1st stranger outing at JB till now, can't believe it has been 2 years. Nice meeting everyone especially the new faces.
