I think its normal wear and tear parts nothing to worry. For the fuse blow, did you add any switch or extra accessories?? check those wire connections.

I been riding the G4 for abt 4 mths only hiccup is run until fuel tank empty, 3times already but lucky for me there is always petrol station nearby.

the bike is quite stock leh, only thing is that the previous owner did pilot lights on her nia. hopefully she dun gimme any more trouble le. :giddy: :giddy:

I read from your website, stock G4 idle mixture screw at 1.5 turns out. When I tried that, bike can't idle without pulling the choke and it died once the choke is close.

Then I tried 2.5 turns out, its able to idle but engine very rough and gear shifting is clunky and hard to find neutral. Found a missing bolt on one of the header while spraying the header with high temp paint, replace and did a carb syn, slightly better.

Finally I set it to 2.75 turns out, engine runs smoothly, gear shift like silk, and very easy to enage neutral. I notice I don't have the 4 clamps on the rubber manifold on the airbox to carb side. Saw some G4 have those clamps, maybe there is slight air leak there. I will need to verify using the water mist method.

I'm running stock air filter and pipe, not sure if the pipe has been modified though but its high mount. Btw what is the idling speed of G4, 1300rpm??

idle speed is 1300-1400rpm

i mentioned legal aftermarket exhausts...... getting from overseas means can't having it certified.

Of cos if the guys here dun mind the hefty fine that comes along with using illegal exhausts i'm sure they'll consider you offer. Cheers!

who certifies the exhausts? (sorry not familiar with your laws yet!):help:

the exhaust that is in the picture has a baffle that is removable and is certified for use in the uk to the same regulation as the standard can if the baffle is fitted!

is it a noise conformity issue?

Hi Riders.

1. How do you know if your fuse, or rather, which fuse is blown?

2. The fuse are the yellow things under your rider seat right?

3. What are the ratings, think I better buy some spares kekeke.

Many thanks!

1. Visual check, see if the filament is broken. Check with a multimeter to confirm, set to ohms and measure if it shows OL, then its blown.

2. The fusebox is under the rider seat, its a black box emboss with the word fuse on its cover. You'll have to squeeze on the latch side and pull out the cover to see the fuse inside. On the other side of the cover there is indication which fuse its intended for e.g 25A is for the main.

3. There are only 2 ratings, 25A and 10A respectively, total 4 fuse

25A - Main (check this fuse if there is completely no electricity on your bike)

10A - Ignition (check this fuse if you unable to start bike)

10A - Signal (check if your signals, horns are not working)

10A - Headlights (check if headlight is not working)

U're supposed to use the choke to start the bike when it's close, close it after a few seconds and use the idle screw beneath the carb to play around with the idling speed or use the throttle gently.

Once the bike is warmed up, it should start up fine without any problem.

Anyway, clutch plates worn out?

oh fark..

I just discovered, my fuse box hor, the top cover missing liao. Only two fuses there, the other two are connected straight to the wires.

Then i checked the base of the fuse got write 20. Does that mean all of them are 20amp fuse? Isn't that like too much?

OMG!! OMG!!! I'm gonna die on the road!!! *paranoid disorder*
