Naz: Wat I mean is use a thicker viscosity oil for G4. such as 10/15-50w. EO that are dense will make g4 engine moan/shout/scream like there's no tmr.

no warm up lah.... start bike immediately spray header n throttle.

Cos if you warm up liao the header that coincides with the faulty plug might be heated up liao den might not be able to tell the difference. Usually testing is done when the bike is not hot.

nice... but its pretty hard to find a 750 complete front end isn't it?

***RETIMED TO 5TH SUNDAY ***

 

 

Time: 8am at flyover b4 custom via first link

Date: 5th March Sunday

Plans: petrol Vpower first, den Trip to Kota Tinggi 4 duck rice, shopping & waterfall for swimming & feeding fish.

 

Timing, go early 8am, back b4 8pm latest into SG There will be no night riding on the Kota Tinggi trunk road - Leave KT by 4pm & if possible we could go into Kulai for a "nice" dinner.

There will be rest stop every 45mins. The 1st rest stop will be at Ulu Tiram.

 

riding speed will be set to a maximum of 100kph.

 

5th March Sunday:

 

going:

1) limbat

2) Phantom Stefanie

3) jilleen

4) mikigoh

5) Ozzarhomb (pend finish liao, maybe on TA200 with stef)

6) naruto13

7) gtbnrsk

Yea not easy to find locally. So have to turn to ebay U.S

 

Found these 92 gsxr600 forks, fully adj, should fit the G4 with minimum mod. But I believe the fork is slightly longer, so after install the G4 may have a more upright seating posture.

wah my bike is in the workshop since monday man. hope she's doing fine. mechanic said my carb float needle corode le have to change new ones, the inside of my tank has rust so have to derust. :help: :help:

btw, ur G4 can take pillion comfortably? cuz mine the suspension like very soft i not sure if she can take pillion or not. :confused: :confused:

Hi Riders.

 

Just discovered the reason for the sputtering sounds on my bike wasnt cause of the engine oil which was thick.

 

So far, I changed to Ah Boys SAE 40 (that was shat man.). Then I bought Total which was 15W50. Still not good. Then I bought Esso 4T Pace which was 10W40.

 

Neither removed that sputtering sound.

 

Suspected carburettor out of sync but because of changing engine oil 3 times the past week, went bankrupt and tried to see if its the sparkplugs.

 

True enough, one of the sparkplugs ain't firing which cause all the misfires at every throttle.

 

Went HKL and changed that one for just $10 and now bike running without sputter sounds.

 

sigh. if only i had done this earlier.. :faint:

 

On a sidenote, I wasnt able to throttle past 150km/h with a downed sparkplug. Is it the reason? :confused:
