hey guys.. does anyone know if fibreglass helmets are supposed to be good?? is fibreglass a good material??

Fiberglass helmets are general lighter and said to be as hard as the normal ones.

 

Fiberglass material itself is used to replace metalsheets for its lightweight and similar strength capabilities.

 

Thats y all those tiong chais change the normal bonnet to carbon fiber type due to its weigh reduction.

Haloooo.....there ppl.....Hmm...seems like alot if happening in the forum now.....New ppl and old birds sharing ideas....this is gd.....Just got a chance to login....was on KL trip hols....Seems like everyone has their own stories to share abt their G4....Well..as yet to get mine....I wonder wat would my story be.....hmmmm......Hope we all could meet up one day.....If not all at one shot...maybe 2-3 at a time.....am staying in the east anyone care to chill out...after office hrs.....??....give me a buz....97957236

Eh no la...nowadays most helmet r using fiberglass le... some examples are Evo, MGP and GPR...if u see carefully they state it by the side of the helmet bottom. Well but how true is it...i not sure...but it is stated la...

 

To my knowledge the only carbon fiber helmet shld be from HJC at motoworld i held it once...can really feel the different in weight...dun believe go see for yourself. lolx.

Hi GUYs,

 

i got qns 2 ask.....does anyone encounter carb drip oil.....i go and ask my mech tey say the needle is old thn whn u park too slant n the floater could nt go bk in place the carb will start 2 leak...itzzz TRUE....but funny tink tat is i turn the oil knob 2 pri the oil wont drip...thn i go n whack n turn the knob bk 2 sec the carb wont drip anymore.....so any1 can share tis wif mi if u all gt encounter b4...TKS:help: :help:

It seems there a few G4s out there tat i've seen wif the same kinda design as yurs.....However there's abit of different in the tail area.....and some of the sticker....Do u happen to stay in bedok area....???

Mostly likely is ur float is dirty...den i gt stuck...those the carb will let go the "excess" fuel...so after u drag...the dirt gt off...den the float is function correctly...try washing ur carb...see if it could solve the prob.

tat dae i go 2 2ndlink n whack.....the excess fuel reali dry up.....thn i go n ask my mech tey say no nid 2 wash carb coz my bike still beri beri smooth....so guess tat mabe the floater is abit dirty.....anywayz tks for the info...so nxt time other ppl gt the same prob tey will noe hw 2 deal wif itz liao....
