Here goes .

 

1.when i start the bike , i have to choke it everytime .

2.Keep the choke on for abt 5 mins then during neutral rpm will be jumping at 0 though i've turn it and set it to 2 when the engine's warm .

3.I realise that when i ride and i clutch in to drop gear , the rpm will drop to 0 and if i don't let it engine brake abit , it'll die .

4.If i stop at traffic light , it has the tendency to just die and i have to constantly rev abit and hold it there .

come to dam... i test test a bit should know the problem.... it could be carb, idling, or some other thing...

Just got a gsx too, spend $180 changing the floats as the petrol is leaking from the carb.

 

Problem, weak in low rpm...now problem got. :)

That means just gathering of the bikes ? Or where does te convoy start from ?

 

Either you can go there straight to suntec city or choose to join the convoy.

The problem is the faulty float, there is too much of petrol in the carb so it is weak in low rpm.

 

Maybe you can check whether your carb is leaking?

Yup. I once had the problem too. Carb always overflow. Change the carb floats, re-synchronize and tune the air-fuel ratio. Works wonders and no problem since then. Done by clifford.

thanks bros for the reply , just came back from a long ride to town and back .. the problem is really giving me a headache eveytime i stop at traffic light have to rev everytime .

 

I think i going to guan hoe tml to service the carbs at the same time ask them what's wrong . Hear it's $35 right ? Any idea how to get there ? So sian .... :cry:

Great to know u're enjoying riding the G4....its a pure raw sound tat it makes tat makes the rider want to keep on..turning and turning the throttle...
