arghong.. how much did he charge u for tightening the disc?

hi bro,

he charged me $20 in total, he took out both my front disc. so i think quite ok. but its the diagnosis that is truely worth that amount. cos my front wheel keep getting "ti ti ti ti" when my bike is running, then i changed brake pads and still like that. very annoying. then he told me that its my disc that are loose. alot of work it seems. so $20 sure worth it.

i shake the disc and it moves so i assume its loose?? if nothing wrong better la.. so u just push and let them do at their own pace ?

my disc never shake, just when i push forward my bike, keep getting a tia tia tia sound. at first chong also thought its the brake pads only, then after changing it, still got sound. finally he remove my wheel and show me, both disc is not "as tight". not so jialat as shake or very loose, just when the hand move it, it will move out of position.

you one will shake even when your wheel is not removed? then your bike got tia tia tia sound? you go planet, tell chong about it and say i just went to see him last week, he sure remember very fast.

i push in then wait for nearly 3hours. you know planet lah, super busy one. but if got time then its always the better shop.

Ya, think is quite normal, cos after calculating is around 20-22 km per litre.

I got lotsa of bad experience start when oil leaking, carb overflow, like all others... den send the bike for major repair for the mechanic did a good job and told me that he make the bike eat less oil...:cheeky:

you ride to ahboy then bike spoil?

Nah, @ first was @ cineleisure carpark opp. Bike failed on me.

Switched on the ignition key, but there was neutral light & nth to be seen.

Took out my rider seat, use a piece of wire to connect one of the wires attached to the condenser if i'm nt wrong to the negative screw terminal of the battery, & there was light. But once i let go, the light went off.

Mr Han from Guan hoe taught me this method of manual checking. Hence, i diy, blacktape the wire under my rider seat compartment & rode to ah boy to check it out.

Halfway going to ahboy, along serangoon road, the bike suddenly died off, but with the neutral light still on, juz that the start ignition won't crank @ all.

So opened up the seat, can't figure wats the probz. Most prob can't push start @ all as starter can't crank.

Thereby, calling the tow truck & pull to ahboy workshop as its the nearest & open on sunday as well, tot of putting it to guan hoe, but they are closed on sat half day & sunday.

Haiz, @ the bike shop, need to do up some wiring, & now i will be going there in a short while to collect my bike.
