Btw, is anyone going down for the Bikers Aid Charity Ride today from Kallang KFC, mass convoy to Arab St area there.

 

Meeting time over there will be @ 1pm, where i tink will be a short briefing & flag off, i tink.

 

Will be there for the convoy, if anyone popping down, can juz give me a beep.

Juz a Case i recently stumbled:

A frend of mine same age as my Bro both juz Passed 2b. Took out a TZM last mnth. Insurance was Mitsui 2nd Party = $950.

My bro took out last week an SP, was quoted Mitsui 3rd party = $1400. WTF rite :faint: ...

Reason being, as at 20th September 07 for those under 23 yrs old the $$$ iz nearly Double coz of the Increasing Number of Rd Accidents fr theze Age Group. Increase Premium iz 2 meet the Margin of Claims $$$ they had 2 settled.

Yikes, yep2 now they going by age band i think. And aso those bikes that are more common on the road like phantom, super 4, sp, krr, think their insurance will be mark up due to the tendency of someone claiming from here is higher.

 

Our bikes ain't tat much in sg roads, so think insurance for our bikes won't go up hopefully. Heh3, goin be 23 soon, saved from paying the loading of insurance. :cheeky:

NAS_1986....If u've got the cash...buy the bike off the FORUM.....and get a fren who is gd bike checking to come along wif u wen u go to view the bike...However if u're looking for installament basis...try to UBI AREA behind Traffic Police....OR the JTC area behind SINGPOST....

 

Market price frm shops....shld not cost u more then $3000 machine price

 

Demonic-...Its is quite true....that NTUC offers the cheapest in Insurance for G4...i've check wif MITSUI/AXA...they are expensive...even wif young age rider...shld not be until $1000 in insurance premium....
