Serious ah. Cos the bike would have a hard time of going thru inspection though quite sui ah the outlook.

 

Kena stripped liaoz ah. Wat happen to the bike eh 7346? Any idea?

eh why wld the bike have trouble with inspection? i dun think moulded fairings are in the list of LTA inspection checklists right?

Juz my 2 cents there abgNERD. Depends to the extent of the how much the fairings are moulded into perhaps. :)

hey guys few last sat i saw abt 6 G4 riding past me at around suntec there.. were heading towards ecp(aye)... were u all guys??

 

Xiong ah....were u wif a pillion....a lady pillion i tink....If it was you...then it was definately us....frm the recent outing ......i think we all wanted to slow down to say hi and asked tat rider to come along....However i think we were goin fast and to slow down suddenly mite caused a crashed...so we all jut proceed on....

Just to share some experience here :

This is an episode from Rectifier to Signal Generator Coil

Started my bike in the morning was fine, stopped for breakfast, start again to continue journey again, stopped, than it cannot start. The cranking of the ignition is good initially but it stops. My battery is relatively new about 3 months. Mr Han from Guan Hoe helped me troubleshoot and finally changed the rectifier. It was fine for a few days, than it cannot start after I stopped for re-fueling in Esso. This time the ignition cranking is fine but just refuse to fire up. I finally manage to push start and ride to Guan Hoe. Then Mr Han add more grounding wires, not sure how it may help though. Then this morning I was riding and the engine stopped immediately when I tried to make a turn. After 2 hours of waiting for help, suddenlly it can start. So I decided to ride to Guan Hoe, than it died again in the middle of CTE.

As what Guan Hoe's mechanic have suspect that this is the Signal Generator Coil problem. Based on his experience, I hope for the best.

Good thing about Guan Hoe, they are all nice and helpful bunch of folks.

Sound like what i've went thru in the past. Change the coil and its gd as new.

Got my bike out of the workshop already today, feels good now. Total expense today :

1 Signal Generator = $114.70

1 Gasket = $8.90

7 % GST = $8.65

Towing = $25.00 (members price :))

total = $157.25

 

And now I'm broke :(
