malaysia ey, long time never go there do bike ever since i got my G4. Btw, which shop you go? Can find parts there? thinking of changing some parts for my G4.

btw i m impressed to see that there r g4s that has such good FC...

315km before reserve?

tats like 21km/l leh...

sounds like a s4 to me...

Parts are easy to get. Planet Motors is one of them. No problem to get parts from ah chong the owner, 2nd hand or Original. :shades:

parts are not hard to get...like what nas mentioned..can get at planet..alternatively u can get at KS motor(suzuki authorized parts dealer)..or u can juz fix ur bike at guan hoe(suzuki authorised service centre) :thumb:

I juz got a gsxr400rlx or rr model, plan to splurge a bit(abt 1k) to do up the bike cause its like 18 years old lol. Hope u guys can give advice on what to do wif the bike to make it better in terms of performance. only problem so far i got with the bike is dat battery seems kinda weak :s sometimes have problems starting it in rain.

oh..how much you got for your gsx? g4 starts easy when cold wheather espcially early in the morning or after rain. i think could be your spark plug. My advice is if the bike has no problem, dont touch anything unless you are doing a regular serving.

got it for 1.8k. i think its battery cause when press the electric starter the sound kinda weak =/ must press a few times b4 its comes 2 life ... sigh kinda miss kickstarter bike =/ my krr never seem 2 have dis problem but since buying over the gsxr havent sent 4 servicing yet... u know any good place 2 service this bike ? cause its like kinda old so i doubt many mechanics will be familiar wif the bike.

coz i am contemplating whether to get the original ones, which will leak eventually, or custom make ss braided ones.

 

anyone interested in the custom ones let me know.

changing ur fork...as in change oil seal and dust cover or really the whole fork...i think if u change the whole fork..u can fork out another $1k liao..haha

haha..no harm trying...but i think if u juz get the stock oil line...should be able to last u for a few yrs la...ur current one could have already lasted 10yr+? lol

Maybe, if you think its the batt then you should check your horn whether is it loud enough. if it's not then time to change your batt.
