timing chain sound or it's the valve clearance...

 

Seriously it sounded from left side of the bike near the top block. I cant define whether its valve clearance or timing chain. When i google about timing chain on youtube... it more of that sound.

 

Yes i got the same issue as well. I am riding a spec 3 for around 3 1/2 yrs now.

 

I can hear a tick tick tick sound coming from the engine area. not sure what is it also.

 

This happened for few months now.

 

Is the tick tick sound like mine, only happens when u are riding, idle mode dont have?

[Q] Guys, been having headlight problems lately.. Sometimes its on sometimes it won't on. Did a bulb replacement along with the switch too but problem still persist. Any idea how to rectify this? The speedo & tacho needles swings twice too. Once when the ignition swtich is turned on (normal), once more after the engine is started (weird..) Something is not right but i don't kknow what....

yours is spec2 or newer model right? swing twice should be battery low already. have it charged.

he mean change .. when u switch in ur bike , did ur speedo meter needle swing twice ? if yes .. means low batt .. get it change ..

Someone told me if needle turn twice is not batt low but current didnt flow thru properly...mine recently turn twice but only sometimes..not everytime..and it happens only recently after 2 yrs plus..first time encounter this on my bike.dunno when previous owner last change battery.. but check on the battery using voltmeter its normal. hhmm.. i scared to charge cos might damaged batt or changw which will damage my pockets..lol

hi i think ur batt is going to spoil or time to get a new one..heard one of the shop mechs talk about the needle going twice..indication batt is not in gd condition...

Hi all

Im desperatly trying to find a used clutch cover for a CB400SF Vtec model, the type with the seperate geny cover, It can be any condition as long as its useable, if any one has one or knows where I can source one from I would be mighty gratefull, If you have a cover from the model that does not have the seperate geny cover I may consider this but it has to be from the Vtec machine so it has the oil level sight glass in it. the two tube if i am not wrong those are the over flow tube, one tube is for water to flow out from the area that u pump fuel the other shuld be over flow for petrol.

i thought of getting a 2nd hand street legal pipe for my S4.. wat do i hv to look for n where can the inspection be done? my fren told me abt the cert... wat cert huh? sori cos kind of blur abit...

BTW im living in jrg area...

you need an approved cert by the manufacturer stating that the pipe is approved for your bike model. go to any inspection centre and tell them you want to inspect your exhaust.
