eh dudes, my revo's battery is dead after 10 days leaving it untouched. now cannot start the bike. any idea how to charge up the batteries?? thnx..sorry for the noob question.hah..

hi guys...i'm riding a spec 1 currently..i wanna noe if my spec 1(4-2-1) header i change with a PB1(4-1) header is there any difference?i was quoted by seng kwang $380 to the mod full stainless steel...but my normal mechanix offered $100 for the mod where he'll haf to cut my current header near the endcan part and weld it onto the PB1 header.so my header will be 4-1 but half stainless steel the other half alloy....so is there any diff???

Bought a 2nd hand super four two week ago, for two days in a row my engine stalled when i dropped to neutral gear at traffice light. then got problem starting the engine. Can someone tell me wats the problem with the bike? the spark plugs are new.. isit because of rain (been raining at night), battery or other problems..? what other things that i need to check on about 2nd hand bike? please help.. thank you!

Can it be the starter coil?? Any cranking sound??? starting the bike in the morning any problem??? Is the alternator charging??? Or maybe is the timing tuning too low??? Have you send your bike for washing the carb and tuning the fuel/air mixtures??? start from the cheap first and maybe send to a trustworthy shop to check.cheer

there's abit of cranking noise but after that its running.. i let the engine warm up ard 5mins before moving off.. haven sent washing for carbon, isit necessary? about tuning the mixtures im not sure cos the mechanic said everything okie.. i was given one month warranty for the bike. in case of anything, i just bring it back to the shop?

 

things tt got change on the bike:

- sparks plugs

- filter

 

any trustworthy shop+good mechanics to recommend that i can go to? how much roughly does it cost? and what should i do first? cos im kinda new with S4.

You might have no idea how long the bike sit at the workshop .rain and shine , the old petrol in the carb!! tell the mechanic what is the problem with your bike and see whether he can troubleshoot for you and find the problem. wash carb and tuning is about $60-$80/. wash one time carb will do, tuning must do half a year once if you want to keep your S4 running smoothly. the bike as time go by , the tuning will run out of tune (air too much/fuel too little, air too litttle/fuel too much). check with the mechanic and go with the cheapest fix first.cheers.

Hi people, I am a S4 rider just like you guys, recently I did Rewitec's nanocoating treatment for my bike and the results were simply great. There was a significant decrease in engine noise, I do not need to down gear even when going up slope because the bike is just so smooth, kicking of gear is smoother and responsive, I am able to clock an extra 20km(from initial 320 to 340 roughly there lah) to my mileage and thats with the regular opening of Vtec and last but not least there is my throttle is much more responsive. Basically what this product claims to do is reconditions the metal surfaces in your engine which overtime has worn out parts due to friction and heat caused by engine mechanics, thus in layman terms it restores your engine to its original state. Like most people at first I was skeptical about such a product and how is that possible for it to be so beneficial for my bike, but after trying it out the results were proven. I went for bike gatherings all that kind of stuff and when I told people about this treatment, most of them were unaware of it prior to that, and so I am just wondering are thereothers out there like me who have done this treatment, please send me some feedback over here!

My bike was in the rain for last few days but did ride it after the rain. Was travelling home halfway when the rpm just suddenly couldnt go anymore than 8k.

 

- went up pie at corporation rd able to hit 130km/hr

- reach eng neo exit only able to substain 90km/hr

- reach petrol station can hear clicking sounds on the left side on engine

- after topping up petrol can only maintain at 70km/hr to go hm

 

im guessing that one of the plug got wet. anyone knows the prob to it?

Start the engine early in the morning and touch all the four exhaust pipes coming out of the engine .Are all 4 of the pipes hot??? or maybe one of them not hot??? then change the spark plug for the one that the exhaut pipe is not hot. when was the last time you go for tuning????

It can be one of you spark plug spoiled and running on 3 cylinder only which will result in loss of power etc.change the spark plug first and repeat the teat all over again to see whether all the spark plugs is burning properly and all the exhaust header pipes are hot. It is a must to tune S4 carbs as time goes by, the timing will ran out of tune. fuel and air mixture too rich or too lean at all the 4 carbs. All the 4 carbs must be running at the right fuel/air mixtures to run properly and smoothly.

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different :cool:

Yes I have and quite a few others have done it..but not from Rewitec. Mine is $48.
