Cause some riders calculate differently and the answer may also be different.

 

My S4 Ver. S full thank can last around 350 km before reaching reserve. Riding style is 60-40 Expressway-Minor/Major road. Change gear ard 4/5 Rpm. Expressway speed around 90-110.

i used to ride a spec 2 with yoshi/mod belly/heavy load(tools for touring) and i can hit 320-250km full tank

 

many reasons

 

start warming up the bike for a long time?

high throttle?

spocket sizes

rider and pillion weight

distance travel.highway/small road/a lot of stop and go?

modifications done?

dunojet?

tyre size/pressure?

 

How to calculate your FC?

 

use distance travel divide by Litre(petrol)=xxkm/L

eg

distance travel 200km

petrol fill 10L

200/10=20km/L

Wow, you've got a sportsbike disguised as a spec 2, dude. Anyway, with heavy mods and heavy throttle application, it still shouldn't be that bad. Go check your carb jetting needles. Could be heavily worn out.

oh dude it happened to me too the first time i got my Spec 1. My mileage improved drastically after i changed my sprockets and chain plus my wheel bearings.

 

And what the other guys said about servicing and stuff, all that adds up. Its like having a sort of 'friction' against your bike when you move resulting in higher petrol consumption.
