So the shop called WEDA at norris rd there.. Do they sell original parts? Wondering how much the side fairing costs (for yellow bees, i'm talking abt the piece that is white at the side).

I don't think so..the shop look like those wholesellers kind; and sells things like spark plugs, filters and etc.

i am not too sure but i can only say original fairing is not cheap.

maybe cheaper alternative is to use decal wrap over it.

If u are getting 1st hand R15, maybe u can consider a 2nd hand 2stroke bike.

1st, it faster den 4stroke.(I believe few of the guys here ride 2stroke n 4stroke bike here and feel the diff. M i rite? hehehe...)

2nd, even u drop the bike u not that heart pain.

3rd, u can learn more things than u have 1st hand bike.

4th, if u intend to go for 2A and 2, dun waste too much money on 2b.

All is up to u, just an advise.

i agree with dl_lfc for point 2,3 & 4.. but i feel that getting 2nd hand 4-stroke bike will be a better option, lower maintenance cost without 2T and better fuel consumption. But still up to the buyer to decide for himself. :)

another point is due to 4 strokers have less power, the ability to be reckless/sensitive to the throttle in terms of speeding is probably less than a 2 stroker hence less chance of accidents... jst an idea

speed at a turn of the wrist

@ grumpy: not true, our 4 strokers already can chiong near 130++ if we whack... accident happens regardless u travel at 10 or 100km/h

Speed is about control, control comes from your wrist.

An accident will cause you to lose your wrist, which in turns leads to losing control and eventually speed.

Think twice before twisting your wrist.

If wan a transport bike, there is alot. If take a sports bike for transport, even it a 4stroke bike. It stil cost u more. Cos sports bike got fairing. Dun need to say abt accident, even e rider just drop e bike. He/her stil pocket a hole.
