Advise? Here's one. Finish up till lesson 6 than worry all these (Not trying to be cocky.. serious!) Cause you need to down like 2 theories? BTT and RTT (which if you have a car license, you need not take BTT than) and that you need to have PDL before you can touch a bike INSIDE CIRCUIT. (You didnt see it wrong). And that you need to have PDL on Lesson 0 (and that was what it was called, really)

And lesson 0 you dont even have the lux of toying with the bike. The instructor would yak and yak and you guys just stand there and listen.

And RTT is like 2 months away? So that makes it (if all goes well) your first pract on Nov. How you enquire on Sept then? And COE now is 2021, it might drop/ raise in 2 days time. No one knows.

Insurance likewise, jump here and there. Cannot give you solid answer. Ask bike shop also hard to give you a figure, would only give you one now to make you happy and than die die go back their shop only realised after you get your 2B, the price up some couple hundreds. :)

under 21, some shop require your parents to produce their IC (which is bad for you since I guess you're trying to hide from them. I've been there done that)

Some shop need you to have 2 full time guarantors. And that is confirm the case! You need to produce your working pay slip too.

So all in all, I assume you will need at least 6months (with your BTT, RTT, TTT, all lessons to pass at one try, one attempt on TP)

estimate under this new system, avg. 2B need nearly 7months to complete. (My friend is in the first batch under this system) So I wish you good luck and best wishes to see you on the road

 

And not to make things any worse off already, you need to understand that the period you're looking at is super peak where almost every institution (for the age of 18 to 21) is having holidays. Bookings per lesson would be 10students at one lesson. Do your maths and you will realised you dont have the luxury of going for lessons back to back or day to day.

3 months is not possible my friend. Look into SSDC website, now it's 16th May and then next RTT is only 4th August. 2 and a half month wasted already just to get your RTT. How about BTT before you RTT? 2th July.

So effectively you have 1 and a half month to finish everything before your TP on 26th July. Which ironically your RTT is in August. You see, LTA and TP set out to not have 2B riders to pass the course too fast. 3months is still almost possible for my time. Now it's getting harder and harder to even pass your lesson 5 (evaluation from driving centre).

 

But hope is still up! Cause after you finish your 2B TP and passed it, you can go for the highway thing and get a letter for your advanced booking for your 2A TP date. This is a bonus in recognition to 2B riders who are committed to safe riding.

Oh! One more thing, 2B need to take compulsory riding defensive theory and lessons. That would add up to the time consumed and money consumed :(

My that friend spent 600odd just for his 2B

2TPs, 5RCs and 22lessons. Plus enrollment + lessons + defensive + fees for tests

 

But ultimately the most important thing is

- check your blind spot correctly (left/ right)

- check your blind spot correctly (not looking down)

- remember your test route + where to see blinker lights + handsigns

- ride like a diva. Confident shown and more confident shown!

The loading for P-plate already 180

Bike that is less than 1 year old also one major factor.

fairing bike and normal bike diff is some 200 to 250 only. IMO, it doesnt really matter its sports bike or not, its just how 'first year' must bleed more money first XD

Actually the price is about the when his age is 20 and p plate. I got my bike at 20 and i get my insurance straight from NTUC. 3rd party and is alr 1.2k then i check for 2nd party is abt 1.8k. So the price is about there.
