Guys, needs some help on pricing. How much is the cost of two side fairings and head fairings for R15??

The other time when I have my accident, I was charged 65 or 85 per side for side fairing. Head fairing is 130 like that. I go back and dig the paper and then update :):):)

To my understanding. Breakeven is the amount of installment that you reach that settled your currently selling price. Per se, 6K is the market value, you already paid off 6K.

okay, thanks for the explanation. i called the bike shop, told them i want to had a full settlement and was told that i will have a $1000 penalty... the document which i sign print that penalty for early settlement is just $500. any reason why is there such a big difference?

i had not notify the salesperson regarding this yet.

Somehow if they wanna charge you that, they have to had already stated clearly the breakdown of penalty. Maybe there is a clause that said something about compounding or the such. You need to look indepth, what you can find in the contract, it is valid. That is why, contracts must be the same across all parties involved.

In a nutshell, under Sales Of Goods Act (SGA) and Hire Purchase Act, they cannot just throw their weight around and you're under protection from these kinda unethical retailer.

dont worry man, im searching for both side fairings and the front cowl too.

came across shops, one selling at $50 each but stocks coming in in the next 2-3months.

most to most i will be going to Auto Rowell, $95 per side, not sure about the front cowling. they are the only shop in that area that has stock in hand.

yes, that the one i am referring to. when i renew my insurance last week, he told me $1230 straight ever when i told him that he make a wrong calculating. keep insisting he is right till i got so pissed off that i dial up MSIG and spoke with the agent on speaker mode right in front of him on the desk. the actual pricing was only $1030.

he was also the one that changed my 2 years loan to 3 years...

So im lucky that i throw all my cash into my bike to full it. All this problem not face on me. But what i think is u go to the shop ask him count in face of u in paper and u count oso. See how he come out with the amount. If he come out with another number or what u add up and his is diff then take the paper that he write on and become a prove and file a case on them.

If that shop so unethical you should bring it to CASE and complain they will look into it.

i am going to file a report against them if they give me numbers that wasn't calculated according to what was printed on the document.

its isn't called the early settlement document. its a agreement documents which ones will sign when going for installment plan, and in the document there is a early settlement section which print the amount to paid for early settlement.

Yay, that is his style. But what ever that was to be said here can be refute and reject anyway. Cannot prove anything also, he can just deny.

Well.. all in all you can settle the early settlement with him. Ask him how he breakdown to 1k and and pro-rate chart to shows it (even singtel contract for HP shows you how much you have to pay if you wanna change phone b4 contract, let alone them)

Still cannot compromise? Kindly inform them you will have CASE to look into the contract. Best is he dig out the contract with you and there are key difference in the contract signed. This way, it can be argue as non est factum.

You might be able to get out of the contract, throw the bike back at him, get your cash for downpayment and all the installment plus interest you incurred.

Just in case someone else is reading this (esp those new birds) make absolutely sure that business is business

1. Black and white on every single thing he/she calculated

2. Every single breakdown of the numbers, included as per basis. Even the smallest thing like charges for number plate

3. Demand exactly what he/she promise is deliver and written down on paper and sign

Still not confident?

Ask! And a group will be form to storm the front with you to assist you in making your purchase :)

(nothing can be more elaborated but to go through this with someone and learn from it. Either hardknock or smooth one.)
