i don't think there is any aftermarket for this model. i didn't had it installed because the price was quite steep.

hey guys i pass my 2b already on october..

i got dilema between fz16 and r15 ..

i was quoted 4800 for a 2nd hand r15 v1 and 1.3k for my insurance .getting the v1 only caz im actually on tight budjet ;)

curious..what's the top speed for r15 v1 STOCK can the cdi be changed??

can the tyres be change to a bigger one ? because i really like the size of fz16 tyre..

how much will a full paint job cost ? looking to spray paint my bike total white if i happen to get one ;)

and how's the maintenance ? do malaysian reconize this bike ? maintenance wise...engine oil spark plug..basic servicing.. changing of tyres , mirrors etcs..

and one last thing, some people said r15 is a fairing version of fz150 ? true ? if so then i geuss malaysian won't have any problem doing the bike :)

p:s

im a singapoorean staying at malaysi,so i need to know if this bike is well known here :p

not intrested in CUB KIA FOR NOW. hehe..

hope to hear more from all you riders :)

Dude, make up your mind. Are you or are you not on tight budget.

You're looking at items that could cost more than enough to but a brand new bike you know?

Considering all the changes you wanna make.

Some info you might like to know.

Malaysia does not recognized this bike. Yes, it's derived from FZ150i or some know as byson 150. But the problem is, the engine is not LC4V. That is the race engine for R15 and the chassis, bearings, sprocket, timing etc.. are all different from 150i.

Big tires, why not? If you consider top speed and tires, it's a tradeoff. Big tires = more drag = lower speed = more stable. Stock condition bike can run anywhere some 135 to 148km/h.

recently i get to know this insurance agent whom have work since 1988 . i pay my insurance a bit lesser than the stated quoted premium . very hard to believe but is true and written black and white ! he even offer to pay first and get that amount from u after u got your bike and settle everything for u . hard to believe rite ?

i riding my r15 v2 red since last sat . the prob is it feel hot on the first day when the bike is in neutral but get better now a day . does it mean the pressure inside and compression ratio have drop ? so far i hardly hit above 90 , is it normal for a stock r15 ?

just for a week i have start to fit in bike cover raincoat and extra set of clothes and short . maybe all r15 can try if u all need it .

just sharing - i use a short bungee rope . hook both end onto the metal support .the metal support under the tail light which use to support number plate . then place the stuff in a ziplock bad place in between rider and pillon seat ,ziplock bag should be 45 degree tilt up . . strap it make use of the edge to prevent the rope to shift back .

I THINK IS NORMAL . my also have that sound . sound like some tiny nuclear reactor sound ? is the sound like some charging up of stuff ? very soft sound ?

Is it normal for a r15 to make a electrical thingy kind of sound when i switch it on?

U will not able tell temperature by just feeling them between the legs however it helps if u install a thermometer reading by KOSO. A new stock bike should not give u problem. All engines should be warm and at times hot,its normal.

Yes,its normal. That sound generates from your fuel tank pump. :)

after 1 week of searching , i realised r15 have no choke and no fuel valve which mean u cant turn off your fuel valve when u not using . or is it hidden somewhere ?

R15 fuel technology uses a plug and stopper adapter with a fuel pump. As you turn your key off, the fuel from the tank will not flow to the injector.
