Well. All ppl here says v-power is not really good. Too much additive. Better get 98 caltex or BP Ultimate. (Based on riders here).

Aussie bike shop are ripping our money. Normal service cost me $350. (Oil and filter included). So I always do it my own. Nothing much to do on this R15.

I'm going to singapore in 2 weeks XD. But only for 3 days >

I wouldn't refute that. I was told that V-power is better utilized on older vehicle since it cleans and eats away any deposit that might be leftover on your piston from all the combustion made.

Wow.. It really cost alot of money to maintain one bike there!

now i know why there so much course from school on bike and car . full service include wash engine and change oil and filter and spark plug and engine gasket will be even cheaper if u go to jb . i think cost sgd 60 the max.

I'd slap a "nonsense" to your mechanic back in Aussie about our bike not being able to take in RON98 furl :p

I've used 95, 97 and 98 rating. So far so good. As long as it's not leaded it will be fine.

And people here is Singapore are complaining workshops here are a killer.. haha! Yay, come on over and get the parts and enjoy the sunny/ humid weather. We could even meet for a drink or 2 to talk more about bike and life. Ride safe!

Maybe depends on the compression rate as well. R15 only 10.4 so 92 fuel is enough.

Hmm.. never seen the YSS suspension in the shop here. Maybe need to order directly. But so far that I know, nothing is cheap here. >

The weird thing is, the cost to maintain a car is cheaper than bike. Accord euro service only cost $200 normally. Can't get the logic why bike service is more expensive here.

becuase more shop doing servicing for car is it ? u mean r15 should use 92 ? over here 92 is like water . over here when i use shell 98 is abit yellow , does not look clear to me . is it also the same over there ?

hmm then nolan helmet is it widely seen over there ?

I think 95 is better. 92 is yellow here :p . 95 blue, 98 red. (shell) Different on each brand and country I guess.

Lots of Nolan here. Price range around $250-600.

Is someone know part number of the R15 fuel pump?

Edit: got it. 3C1-E907-00. I found the part catalog for 2010 R15 (54C2 & 54C3_2011)

ya is stated there but it seem like a super thick or low grade fully syn ? 15w50 i tot normally full syn is 10w50. anyway i using that mobil 20w-50 now i feel is thicker and require more throttle to get that amount of rpm . i guess that the con , the pro is i no longer hear piston rubbing on the cylinder wall .u know the sound of sharpening some metal stuff

Fully synthetic i believe.....its written there on the bottle as 100% syntheses. guess the clue is the 100%
