Ride alone first, get use to the bike and when u have the most confidence, join the rest or other groups for outing. For your info, generally, these groups are speed demons thou they say that they are will ride safe and such however in reality, the speeding and race maneuvers will take place. This will be hazardous to you as u are new to the bike and u tend to catch up with them, u might end up in the wrong situation. However, there are some who are practicing safe ride for newbies.

no what i mean is other pipes for R15 like GPR..

GPR is street legal for R15 as for now.

GPR is the legal one as for now (can have some exception when vicom decided to pass other bike on R15. Rare case) and price range from the lowest aluminum at 680 to carbon at 750 like that excluding inspection fee some 80 bucks.

PM me your hotmail address for FB. I will add you into the group for this forum.

My point of view is ride as much as you can and join in a group if you're keen in learning and have the passion for riding.

Reflective sticker can last very very long if you take care of it. Constantly cleaning it and wiping off grease and dirt is essential. I bet you clean your rim say once every month per assuming daily operation.

And..

I find Yamalube runnish. Thin out easily, does not even have what it claim to do (smooth operation, takes in high heat etc). Top of the list (no order) are Motul, Belray, liqui moly..

and..

your rpm is not normal at warm up stage.

want to check with those with r15 v2 , recently my bike idle when warming up for 4min plus it will drop rpm from 1.4 to 1.1 , is it normal ?

its normal but 1.1 is a bit too low. Have it up to 1.4 and u have good piston beats.

and recently i realized my stock v2 , the clutch biting point is half release even i have tighten the knob all way in .i want a near biting point.. is there a problem that the clutch cable too short or too long ? or is it the stock lever design is rubbish ?

to foxin - i guess i will goes on with motul . i just want to get and stick to a good semi syn . but there so many brand

Your reason for using semi-syn?

Adjusting the cab;e at the lever area is one thing. But if you really want to fully change the setting, it is more reasonable to change the whole cable since you can cut from the default long cable and adjust from there. You screw or un-screw the "screw" can only adjust that limited position only.

semi syn is more durable than syn ,i go more for transport .performance can let go abit . so the stock lever design dont play a part in biting point ? normally how much would bike shop charge for adjusting the clutch cable ? thanks u

Kokwei, if you want your engine to last and minimal wear and tear, use Synthetic base of 20w-40 engine oil of any preferred brands. Most riders use Full synthetics 10w-40 which is good but faster wear and tear. This is due to our bike engine engineering and its stated clearly 20w-40 in the manual. Abt adjusting clutch cable, its free. PM me, leave me yr number, hopefully I can share with u some basic knowledge hands on.

Fully Syn comes in many ranges from 0w-30 to 20w-50. This is also applicable to semi synthetics. :)
