Well maybe u can try Zippo Fluid or medicated oil. I uses that to remove sticky residue on almost anything.

Sticky residue meaning the leftover after peeling off a sticker.

my ferring sticker of the R15(old version), part of it is being scratch off by some small rocks i think while im riding. if i take out those sticker, where can i find the remover to remove the sticky marks. or u guys know any shop that is able to do this? *heartpain* cos the bike only 2weeks old.. seriously not worth it to change the whole ferring..

Firstly, I like to bring your attention to the said shop. Of your 5years in riding. Did you kinda get feedback about many shops around SG?

5years to be is an awful long period of time and... this bike is selling like any K-pop album that is release into a K=pop starved young heart with that addition of close door competition.

You're talking about something that is of the next generation of SP, KRR, TZM and the like. I can say.. 8.9K is VERY steep.

Machine for one of this range 5.9K to 6.5K. OTR w/o insurance should go some 8K onwards not exceeding 8.5K. Consider this as a measure.

My friend said that the v1 can go shop do th design like v2... Is it true.? Even if can, illegal or not?

from what i know is that, whatever editing did to the bike is illegal. be it HID/angeleye etc, its just see to what extend does the catcher aka TP gonna be strict on u or not to impose a fine.

there's no way for us to identify oil filter if its original or not unless we got it from a trusted mech. the only way is to use the oil filter. after using, check the filter if it has crooked or in odd shape. original ones won't change shape no matter how long you used it.

Anything you do to your bike, they will know. Unless LTA approves it, then its legal. if not, its not. They even have stock photos of every single bikes and they would definitely know the difference if any mods is made. Just consider yourself unlucky if LTA/TP catch you and summon you, vice versa. Just to share.

ya can . wing yap does it . but is illegal . if u want siam the tp eye , u need a bigger rear tyre and exhaust angle must change too .

It's like a Honda Civic with under tray neon, racing skirt and side fender. Eye catching?

One dude made quite a mistake and was fine up to 7K, consider this when you go in any shop that offers custom fairing.

There's a will, there's a way.

1) There is a serial code on the top black rim of the oil filter that have a engraved coding there containing it's production code that is the same as the one that was shown on the box

2) laser print with "genuine Yamaha Part" sticker (small strip) by the side together with the item description sticker

3) Color of the filter. Dark yellow is from Thai, while pale one is from places like indo, india. Quality wise not much diff, but we do have some that is authentic fake.

And.. after you use the filter and you decided to check it, wouldn't it already defeat the purpose of using it in the first place? Right?

Lastly, the filter always come in a box (with no plastic) and was sealed with additional Yamaha sticker. If your WS/ mech took out the filter out of no where, it's prolly VERY likely it's fake. Always ask for the whole box.

Else, buy one oil filter from auto machinery from Ubi (the only distributor for Yamaha parts) and have it with you at all times. Nothing can escape already.

Firstly to address the Dunlop tires. Smaller tires in general are almost as useful as those huge ass one on class 2 and 2A.

Why it sucks? Simple. Did you..

1) wash your tires when you wash your bike? Rid of dirt, grim and small pebbles in between the tires? (not literally soap and wash)

2) Have the correct tire pressure?

3) Most importantly, how old is your tire?

Smaller bike tires skid mostly because the tires harden up due to over long storage of the tires. You see, your tires are stored on the rack for maybe for the longest time. To the shop it's almost a year tires, to you.. brand new. Leave your shoes in the store room for 1 year and wear it again to run. See if the sole comes off. Same logic.

Bridgestone are so expensive because there are actually many people who wants it base on soo-say that the tire is the best. If you're the one selling and 100 people ask for the tires from you everyday, don't you want to make a quick buck?

Next, Oil filter you can opt for the wire mesh.. No problem. But it's not as efficient as paper type. Why? Why do you think your science experiment uses paper than metal? Cause it does not expand as much, have lesser porous allowance for dirt and residue.

Of course, metal mesh can be re-use over and over again with proper maintenance.

Lastly. Bigger rear and augmenting the position of the exhaust can escape TP's eyes? Let's not take things on the legal side as yet. Common sense... This kinda thing is it even justifiable? going through all this hassle?! And!

What do you take them? Vehicle idiots? Don't you know that over 90% of them rides bike themselves, played with bike and even probably giving advice and looking through this forum and FB biker group?

They probably ride better and knows much much more than anyone!

What a joke!
