Had a quick temp fix, went to motorwerks @ UB 1 to look for Kriega merchandise, ended up getting the adapter (wanted to get the tail pack but don't have the size I want) an clip the helmet onto it.

Generally people will buy the cargo net and hook it down and warp under the bike seat. This way the seat will not be scratch and your tank will also be prevented from much unneccessary fricition

Hi all, anyone knows where can I bought handphone mount for our R15? Went to ahboy they sell only the ring mount which I believed there's no space for us to put?

Where do you guys usually service your r15?

I'm currently visiting HL cycle due to the free oil filter with oil change promo.

But Kaki bukit is rather far for me eps when I'm in the west.

Any recommendations ?

Thanks!!

Also, I noticed the different kinds of numbers on engine oil bottles, 10w40, 20w40, which is better ? And how to tell.

I read some articles and don't really understand

Anyone have phobia of their side stand giving way?

The way my bike tilts and supports all it's weight on that little stand is scaring me each time I park the bike

For parking whether side stand or main stand, just make sure the ground is fairly flat. After park, just shake ur bike a bit, see if it's stable. If park on slope, bike face upslope, so gravity won't work against you.

Just go to a trusted motortiam. R15 is a fuss free motorbike. Our brothers here can vouch for that.

This is what I do.

Monthly (2 months once also can):

Change engine oil

Check brake lever (lubricate)

Check brake pad (thin or not)

Check chain (loose or not)

Lubricate chain (if u don't already do it yourself)

Pump tires

6 monthly:

Do the above

Change spark plug

Check brake fluid

Clean air filter

Check battery

Check for tire wear n tear (might need to change)

At the end of the day, try not to cut out servicing. $30 - $40 per month is better than $500 - $600 of repairs. Get good brakes and tires. Don't mess with your own life. 😊

Thanks bro!

I usually service at HL cycle, just complete 1300km, first two change of oil and oil filter is by them.

Do I need to specify what is needed to be done ? Or will they know what to do based on mileage ?

They shd know. But sometimes cos of time, they skip some stuff. So it will be good if u know wat they are doing. 😊

thats your brake switch. It's just this spring thing that activates your brake light... What makes you think it is not tight?

Hey thanks!

There is some free play, like I can wiggle it around.

Woooooo... that sounds very dangerous. Is there any sign of tears or something on the rubber cap? If it is because of the lever, I guess the wiggling is pretty much fine as it is build someway or another like that. Wear and tear I suppose

I'm currently at 1400km, changed oil and filter at 300/600/900/1300 . Pumping 98.

But currently experiencing slow pickup/acceleration.

Anyone facing the same issue
