Hi, dropped bike today, no scratches anywhere other than the rear tail panel, the place where the pillion's thighs are at.

 

Anyone know where I can get a replacement ?

Depends on where you stay. I guess a V2 OTR now would fetch some 11k onwards.

Insurance wise you will only be benefiting from the "loading" that comes with all fresh rider. Guess the diff will only be 150 or so.

Replacement can be found at auto machinery. Rowell road, etc.

I think v1 is around 4k~5k-ish and v2 is about 7k~8k-ish? Alot of bike shops out there.. Find a friend ( best with experience ) to go with you to see if not tio carrot!

hey guys, my v1 has been producing some very annoying noise lately. it's very much like the squeaky sounds u get when pushing a trolley with rusty wheels. it gets louder and 'hollower' as I increase speed, but more squeaky when i slow down, almost coming to a stop. not a long squeak, but short reps if continuous squeaks~ driving me nutssss.

 

what could be it? just changed tires last month. could it be the tires?

Hey guys

 

I would like to know what are the possible damage to the bike and what i should look out for if the seller told me that he did skid the bike before.

There are some visible scratches to the side of the bike and its throttle and brake lever when i went to have a look. Would there be any serious damages? The engine does sound ok as the bike is about 10months old.

Hey guys, anyone want to go riding with me? R15 V2. I desperately need to compare with someone else the bike performance. Because my bike is having issues with vibrations above 5krpm at any gear. I am forced to ride at 70kmph on 6th gear to be slight smooth. Once i go expressway i need to be 90kmph at 7-8k rpm and the whole bike just vibrates. It so damn irritating. Brought it to Yamaha Service Centre and the guys say no issue just keep riding. (Think they want it to spoil then earn more money).

 

Maybe we can organize an outing or something. I really need some R15 V2 brothers to help out because i'm really not enjoying the bike since this issue occurred.

 

PS: When i got the bike, there was no issue. After months of riding it just came out of nowhere. PM me or whatsapp/call me 86129101.

Hi, im riding a V1. I too felt vibration at above 6krpm. I am thinking maybe the chain contributes. Also I read somewhere that the piston rubbing in its cylinder may cause the vibration. Adding a little 2T in fuel tank may help to smoothen the action of the piston. Maybe you read up on this for more info.
